This house is the ideal home for family gatherings or groups of friends. There is plenty of room for being together, but not on top of each other! The home is relaxing and comfortable with knotty pine walls and casual furnishings.
The house is located just a few doors down from the beach entrance (stop 2). It is very close to the Blue Chip Casino, Outlet Mall, Washington Park and Zoo, the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, the Marina, and many great restaurants and bars!
The living room and kitchen are both very spacious, with plenty of room for your group to congregate . The dining room has a pool table that converts to a dining table and a bar with games inside.
There is a large back deck for grilling and lounging.
Three true bedrooms (not lofts) - one with 2 queen-sized beds, one with four twins (2 are a bunk bed), and one with a queen bed & small balcony. All bedrooms are located on the second floor with 2 full baths on the same floor. One queen-sized and one twin-sized sofa bed in living room.
If you are looking for a "party house", please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing, spacious beach home, this is it!

i grew up in michigan city & spent most of my summers as a teenager on the beach. after college, i moved to chicago & often came back to michigan city during the summer to relax, get out of the city,& enjoy the beach. it was such a short distance to feel a world away. now i live in colorado but try to get back to sheridan beach as often as possible!

My husband, 2 kids (5 and 9) and mom spent 4 days here. The house was in a good location and was clean and as described. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the back deck. We spent a lot of time out there. The zoo is a short walk away and the beach was closer than I expected. Thanks Stacy ! We had a great time. Will rent again !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Very clean, good location, plenty of space and well-stocked rental house! Short, easy walk to a quiet and peaceful beach. Close drive to good restaurants! We will reserve again.

I rented this house for a girls weekend trip for myself, my mom, my sisters and my nieces. The house met our expectations! The location is great. Safe neighborhood, close the the beach and the outlets. The set up of the hosue was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 7 people, could have had more. The house is seperated enough that the early birds could get up and start their day, while those that wanted to sleep in were not disturbed. If we go back to Michigan City we will definately rent this home again!

This was ideal for our family reunion, from Great Grandpa, 82 to Santino, 1. It's a really short (but steep!) walk to the beach, and the house is as comfortable as described, but it's a "lived in" house where you can enjoy yourself, not a spanking new sterile hotel-like place. If we go back in a few years, I'll try to get this house again.

We LOVED the house at 109 California. I have to admit we were a little worried because in the past we had rented the big Log House on Lake St. This house did not disappoint. There was plenty of comfortable beds and all the amenities needed. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and anything else we wanted to do. The house is well kept and pet friendly, not easy to find. We enjoyed every minute there and would not change a thing.
