You'll find the slower pace begin to mellow you. The cares disappear. This is, after all, an escape -- your escape. Located at the quiet end of Thomas Drive, you can take a leisurely walk to the fishing pier or St. Andrews State Park. Or, if you prefer, simply relax on the large, 30 foot balcony and enjoy nature's bounty -- dolphins, manta rays, even a stray manatee, and the best show of all, the breathtaking sunsets. The 120 foot pool could beckon you for a moonlight swim, have the water melt your cares away. You are on vacation. Our kitchen is well equipped, but why cook when you can walk to 3 well known restaurants within 50 yards of the resort, Schooner's the last local beach club, Scanpy's, and Montego Bay.

Wow, nice condo ! When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. Much more than we expected. The condo was bright, cheery and spacious ( approx 1400 sq ft ). It was completely furnished as listed in the write - up. You could tell the condo had been completely repainted. There were 2 new couches in the livingroom. It was just so nice to just hear the ocean. One day we were fortunate enough to see dolphins swimming / playing in the ocean right in front of the condo. The condo is located on the East end of Thomas Dr. away from the busy traffic area but close enough to get to the main shoppingand eating places within minutes. We stayed here for 3 months so had a chance to checkout many places. We were impressed with the variety of shopping at Pier Park. Now they are adding even more stores. Some of our favorite eating places were Montego Bay ( right next door ), Triple J ( N on Thomas ),The Mellow Mushroom Pizza ( W on Thomas ), Margarittaville and Five Guys & a Burger at Pier Park. For a little nostaigia try Bayou Joe's in old Panama City at the end of Magnolia St. This was our home away from home and we are looking forward to return.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
