Enjoy an incredible view from our penthouse in the gated community of the Boquete Country Club featuring Equestrian stables, tennis courts, a health/fitness centre, pool, eco hiking trails, and much, much more. There is 24-hour security on site and a dedicated, covered parking stall.
This penthouse was built in 2006. There is an elevator in the 4-story building as well as a wide, bright staircase. Features include: Master bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom and full guest bathroom, large kitchen with granite counters and breakfast bar, pantry, stainless steel fridge, stove, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, and laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer. There is a dining room and living room, and two terraces overlooking the Boquete highlands, Volcan Baru, and the Pacific Ocean off in the distance. There is also a private foyer which can be used as a breakfast area, an art studio, a den, or whatever your needs require.
Within a 7-minute drive (5 km) from the Boquete Country Club, you will be in downtown Boquete where you will find shopping, restaurants and many other amenities.
Please note that the fitness centre, jacuzzi and solar-heated pool at the Boquete Country Club are about a 5-minute walk from the penthouse.
Boquete is nestled in the coffee-growing highlands of the Chiriqui Province of Panama. Boquete has a very temperate climate with a range of approximately 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. December-April is the dry season and May-November is the wet season.
All utilities are included in the rental price, as well as cable TV and wireless internet.
We have an amazing property manager in Boquete who will meet with you upon arrival, orientate you with Boquete, answer your questions, and be available should you request anything. And my husband and I are always available via email or telephone.

Weekly rentals are also available at $400 USD per week

Fantastic View, Great Location
Fantastic View, Great Location
I'm not sure what is considered "furnished" but this has the bare minimum. When I first got here, it was not very clean, had one clothes hangar (had to go shopping before I could unpack), no TV, cable or internet. Took 10 days to get it installed. Owners did not offer any concessions. The door to the balcony had no screen and I later found a screen door behind something and it was filthy. I scrubbed and scrubbed and it is still dirty. The owners will not replace it. So my options are open doors for birds and bugs; or look through it taking away from the fabulous view. The TV is not HD and the owner won't get it and pay the difference. There are only three night stands so one bedroom has two and the other has only 1. The entire condo had no lamps so the mgr bought two so now there is one in the living/dining area and one in the master bedroom - none in the 2nd bedroom. The owner has offered to reimburse me for some of the items I consider as basic (less than $300) but it needs a lot more in my opinion to warrant the "Penthouse" description.

Owner response: Jeannie, Your review has taken me by surprise, so I'd like to respond. In your emails to me, you said you loved the unit but you did point out some areas you felt needed attention. Those items were addressed almost immediately. The Cable and Internet were not in place for your arrival and that was my fault. I had to provide Cable Onda with documentation that took more time than anticipated. The unit states that Cable and Internet are provided but HD is not included. You are the first renter in over 3 years that has requested HD TV so I chose to not have HD as part of the TV services. The condo has many overhead lights and a couple of lamps. I've always solicited feedback from my tenants and no one has requested more than the current 4 lamps so I didn't realize the light was lacking in anyway. You have asked for many additional items that I have said 'absolutely, please buy what you feel you need and I'll reimburse you', which I have done. I'm very sorry that the unit doesn't live up to your expectations, although the pictures posted are 100% accurate of the furnishings. I will be travelling to Boquete in the next while and take an inventory of all items and will purchase new ones and replace others where necessary. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your remaining time in Boquete. Please let me know if I can make your stay more enjoyable.

About the owner: Hello and thank you for viewing our property. We are Brian and Shelley and we bought our penthouse in the Boquete Country Club in 2009. We heard so many people talk about retiring to Panama and we were curious so we came to Boquete in the spring of 2009 and fell in love with this amazing town and country. We came back a few months later and our feelings were cemented. Boquete felt like home and we plan on retiring here, hopefully, in the next few years. We currently live in Canada and try to visit Boquete as often as possible.

We fell in love with Boquete, and we bought this penthouse because we loved the location, the amenities, and the security of being in the gated community of the Boquete Country Club. The penthouse has the most amazing view of Volcan Baru and the highlands of Boquete.
