Beautiful home nestled in the Santa Monica canyon, surrounded by eucalyptus trees, only blocks from Santa Monica's famous white sandy beaches. This home feels miles from the hustle and bustle of the city, while being only a short bike ride away from the center of it all. Hike the nearby hills of Malibu, play on the pier or shop the 3rd street promenade, ride your bike to crazy Venice beach. Its all within a couple of miles in either direction. Or just take the surfboards to one of several breaks nearby (Sunset, Topanga, Malibu 1st point, El Segundo, etc.).
Our two bedroom, one bath home is approximately 1200 s.f. and includes cable, wifi, a fully stocked kitchen, a fenced private yard, ping pong table, and dog run (dogs are allowed but not in the house, they must stay in the area out back). Bikes, surfboards, skateboards, scooters, also available.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very generous and easy to work with. The house is cute with a lot of character. There was plenty of room for my family of 4 to spread out. We were close to Malibu, downtown Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and not too far from Universal Studios. My only tiny complaint would be the Apple t.v. We couldn't watch regular network programming, only pay for movies or tv episodes. However, we weren't wanting to watch t.v. that often. I'd recommend this house to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I had a most enjoyable Holiday stay in this beautifully appointed cottage. The location was perfect and we didn't have to spend a great deal of time always driving from one point to another. As it is a very easy walk to the beach and or to shopping. We also found some very good restaurants that we could walk to. It all made for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband, son and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated "cottage." It was very comfortable and well appointed. The proximity to the beach and to the downtown area of Santa Monica is excellent. We experienced a plumbing issue during our stay. But the owner was very prompt in having it fixed.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Please note I have a 60 day cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 60 day window, I have a no refund policy. The only big important house rules are please don't smoke, and please don't open the leaded glass windows in the kitchen.
