Doire Farm Cottages offer you old world charm with modern comforts.These award winning cottages were part of an original 18th century farm house and look out into the courtyard. They are situated on an 80 acre dairy farm and is surrounded by mature gardens. There is a children's play area on site with a basketball hoop for young and old. Collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast from the hens in the garden and a visit to see the cows being milked can be arranged. After a fulfilling day sightseeing in the area, relax in front of an open log fire, sip a glass of wine or take a relaxing Jacuzzi bath.
The cottages have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

                      • Kenmare is a picturesque town with the Atlantic Ocean at it's feet and is known locally as Neidin which means 'Little Nest'. Killarney is to the north, a short drive to Muckross house and the Lakes of Killarney and the Beara Peninsula with the Healy Pass and Gleninchaquin is to the south. Kenmare has much to offer with its many award winning restaurants and fine pubs and is an ideal location for touring the Ring of Kerry, Skellig Rock, the Dingle Peninsula and Blarney Castle and West Cork. just to mention but a few. For walkers, there is the Kerry Way and the Beara Way and we host our own walking weekend in June every year. If golf is your sport, Kenmare boasts two excellent 18-hole courses. There are also excellent water sport facilities and horse riding nearby. We are happy to give you help and advice on what to visit in the area. Kilgarvan, a rural village where you meet the real locals, is home to Ardtully Castle and has excellent walking trails. Fishing is available in the local rivers and sea. Every Wednesday, we have a Farmers Market in the town where you can purchase local fresh produce and enjoy the ambiance of a rural town. We have ample supermarkets with everything you need.                         My husband and I recently spent 4 days in Johns romantic cottage on Doire Farm. The cottage is very well-equipped, spotless, and beautifully decorated with lots of romantic touches. The farm setting is lovely, very private, and tranquil. Anne and Patrick are perfect hosts. Their children are precious. They made us feel very welcomed and went out of their way to make our holiday a wonderful experience. The location is great for day trips. We toured Beara Penisula, Ring of Kerry, and Mizen Peninsula. Kenmare was one of our favorite towns. We highly recommend you stay at Doire Farm cottages. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Ireland again, we will definitely stay here again.

                        Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
