Located on Lovers Lake in Chatham.Very Private setting with spectacular views. Lots of Charm, house was the original Ice House for the Town of Chatham.Current owners family summer home since 1970. Wonderful spot for family gatherings. Close to local beaches and downtown. Sleeps 11 to 13. 5 bedrooms( 2 master), 2 Living rooms, 3 Full baths and outdoor shower. Den, Dining room, Full Kitchen. 2 decks and a bluestone patio. private beach with dock. Great for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing,paddle boarding and fishing. The setting is so tranquil you will never want to leave!

This house is amazing. It is very private. It felt like we had our own private lake. The lake is also beautiful; we swam and used the boats everyday. We watched turtles, hummingbirds, swans and fish from our pier. There are no motor boats permitted so the lake is also quiet. There is also a little private beach where our son enjoyed digging and playing. We also loved sitting and eating outside on all the different patios. It was so lovely that we were hesitant to go out and do anything else, but when you do venture out, the house is located close to downtown Chatham and several ocean beaches. The owners were very responsive to us; it was easy to book and it was clear from our interactions that they want you to enjoy their home as much as they do. This winter I have often dreamed of our time at this home, and I hope to stay there again. I can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was a great house on a beautiful and clean lake. We swam in the lake almost every day and enjoyed the plentiful boating options that came with the house. Over the course of a week we enjoyed the numerous indoor and outdoor seating areas--all of which were perfect for our group of 6 adults plus kids. The location is very secluded and was ideal for relaxing. At the same time, it is easy to get to many of the most desirable locations on the cape such as Nauset Beach and the town of Chatham. Overall, this was an ideal location for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Awe inspiring views from an extremely comfortable and livable home on a short dead end road directly on the lake. Short drive to beaches and a happening downtown. Go for a swim and jump into the outdoor shower and step onto one of the two decks overlooking a beautiful sunset on Lovers lake! Which happens to be engine free, just paddlers and stocked with fresh fish.Doesn't get any better than this, we are going back every year with the kids.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
