About the owner: The Azienda Agricola Biologica Fiordoliva, about 90 acres in the Marche hills, belongs since many centuries to the Counts Accorretti, a noble family owning since the XIV Century many homes and farms around the city of Filottrano. The actual owner, heir of the Accorretti Family, created, years ago, a modern organic olive yard of about 850 trees. For love and also for curiosity he decided to directly manage the farm, bewitched by the unique beauty of the place and by astonishing view that can be appreciated from the house: the city of Filottrano, laying in the hills two miles away, the Sibillini mountains and, in the clear day, even the Gran Sasso mountain, rising high over the sweet Marche countryside.
Why the Owner Chose Macerata:
The relais is in the center of the farm and has four suites for the most demanding guests...
We restored the house with great love for us and for our three children. Now, the eldest is a MD in Siena, the second is a MD in Rome, and the last works in Belgium. So, this large home is aften empty, and we decided to share it with someone else, with people able to appreciate the sound of the growing trees.

The silence and the quiet is total. You can borrow one of the many hundreds books available in the library, sit in the park and read quietly. Or walk following the property boundaries, arriving in places out of times. You can also sit by the lovely swimming pool (open July 2012) and have a light snack picked by yourself in the vegetable garden...
