Only 40 minutes by ferry from West Vancouver, sits the little town of Gibsons - far from the noise and hustle of big city life. Here you'll find a charming blend of an old fishing village mixed with eclectic cafes, gelato shops, restaurants and one-of-a-kind stores.
Our picturesque cottage is perfectly located right in the middle of historic Gibsons Landing, with views of the marina and government wharf - all set against the rugged coastal backdrop of scenic islands and snow capped mountains. Cafes, restaurants, antique shops, bookstores, the library and Gibsons Art building, as well as kayak rentals and water taxi to nearby islands, are just steps away. In the summer listen to free outdoor concerts from your own patio or wander down to the park and boardwalk to enjoy not only the music, but also take in the sights and sounds of the harbour. There is an abundance of art galleries, plus live theatre and music concerts, with different festivals held every weekend in the summer. For the more active, there are many horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, plus beaches and hidden coves to explore.
We have two suites, each with a private entrance, and surrounded by beautiful mature gardens. A unique oasis in the center of town. The lower suite has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with large bathtub, sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen, plus an extra bedroom with a single bed. Outside there's a patio with sea view overlooking the gardens.
The upper suite, with its peekaboo sea view, has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, sitting area, and a kitchenette equipped with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. There is a small deck.
Both suites are furnished with luxury linens, plush towels, flat screen televisions with satellite, DVD players and internet access (WiFi).
