The major plus of this apartment was its seemingly very safe neighborhood near to tons of shops in Hammersmith and a great pub on Goldhawk Road. It was probably priced appropriately for what it was. The apartment itself was pretty tiny, with very low ceilings and a very narrow bathroom. Not recommended for anyone over 6' tall or 200 lbs.+ While there was next to no noise from the street, there was noise from what sounded like washer/dryers going on up above on several occasions and lots of heavy footsteps upstairs. The bathroom was accessible from both the bedroom and the kitchen/living area with a very flimsy door, meaning that it's not very private and kind of weird if you don't know the people you're staying with extremely well... It seemed clean enough, although no additional bedding was provided for the pull-out chair in the 2nd room (kitchen/living area). It was fine for a couple nights but I probably wouldn't stay for longer than that. Also, the owner came by at 9:45 on a Friday evening to pick up dirty linens, which seemed a) rude that he would stop by at all b) incredibly inconvenient c) unnecessary since we were only there for 4 days. en general fue bien, aunque el apartamento es un poco claustrofobico, es un sotano sin apenas luz. Las camas son bastante incomodas en general y se escuchan ruidos de agua en tuberias constantemente. La situacion es muy buena, una zona tranquila, a unos 10 minutos de la estacion de Hammersmith, donde hay 4 lineas de metro y muchos autobuses, y en la misma estacion un supermercado muy barato (TESCO) y tiendas de todo tipo.Did you find this review helpful? Place is a little minimalist, but excellent location and service. We stayed longer than most -- 6 weeks -- so lack of dresser, closet space, a dish drain, broom, etc was minimalist inconvenience. May not bother short term visitors, and flat has good layout for 2 people. We like hard beds and found the bed comfy, but can't say the same for the chairs. It was also comfortably warm (London was particularly cold this year.) and Mal immediately responded when our plumbing went out, so service has to be rated Excellent. But the best part of the flat is its location. Absolutely superb for getting around. Shepherds Bush is a good shopping area (both the Market and Westfield Mall). There were weekly tube shutdowns because of 2012 Olympic preparations, but the location (Iffley Rd) is a short walk between several major underground lines and the 94 bus, which runs to Picadilly, so you can get around at any time of the day or night. I would recommend this place to anyone, and if I go to London again, would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We loved the app. and the area it was in. It was nice to get away from the touristy areas at the end of the day. It is perfect. There is a nice pub around the corner where youcan finish your day. Defenetly will come back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Studio B is located in the basement of a property in Hammersmith, the only negative point is that because of its situation it lacks light but otherwise, everything's great ! the tube station is only 10mns away, the area is very quiet and very nice, quite a wealthy area nowadays. the wholereservation process went swiflty and easily and the return for the deposit was transfered within 48 hrs of our return. Great !Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

I booked this flat for a week, in March 2010. It was a very everything described and more... I absolutely loved the convenience of the location and the neighborhood was very nice as well. Lots of shops and things to do very close by and of course a quick trip into the city. It was plenty big enough for two people. The ONLY thing I would caution people about is the comfort of the bed. If you are used to or need a big cushy mattress, you may not like the one in this flat. I can sleep anywhere, so it wasn't an issue, but I know some people have difficulties with that sort of thing. Overall, it was an excellent experience, everything was VERY clean and the pictures are 100% accurate! I would stay here again in a heartbeat... Also, email correspondence was very quick, everything was very easy, there were absolutely no glitches in the system...got my deposit back within a couple days of returning.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
