My family is from Nevada and California. My son graduated from NAU (Go Jacks). I wanted to have a BBQ party and have room for my family to stay since we live so far away. This little house was PERFECT! We had so much room to cook, play games, BBQ, set up a buffet table, decorate and have a wonderful party without breaking the bank. Everything was so comfortable and easy. We did not have to deal with traffic or restaurants!! I LOVE Flagstaff. The stars, trees and fresh air are fabulous. My family wanted the number to rent the house again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house was perfect for our needs. Well kept, clean and the location was great to use as a hub for many attractions. We had six adults and one child and had plenty of room. The only negative was the early morning noise of nearby train. We would definately use this property agian as we are already planning a new vacation out that way..Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers.

The house was in a great location in Flagstaff. Was a great home base for us as we travelled from Phoenix to Sedona and then on to Flagstaff. Went to Grand Canyon the next day then to Walnut Canyon he next day before heading back to Phoenix. Great house for seven of us. Had all the amenities we needed and all of the communication with Linda before we got there was great. I would recommend this property for anyone who needs a nice clean place to stay in Flagstaff.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a very nice place to stay! Had everything we needed. Four adults and five kids, who had a ball in the snow! Kitchen was stocked with everything you'd want! The home is a central location for day travel to The Grand Canyon and Sedona. I would highly recommend this home. Plenty enough room for our family of 9.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were looking for a nice little place to stay for the weekend while in Flagstaff, and we came across this home, and we instantly booked it. The owners were very helpful, considering this is our time renting a vacation home. Once we arrived, the home was cleaned and smells nice. Although we brought a whole bunch of our own supplies, everything you need is there! It was well stocked, which is more than I had expected. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were nicely decorated. It was so cozy we didn't want to leave! It was very close to town and the stores, and a short distance to snowbowl. The main thing is, this home is very warm and cozy; kind of like a place you would want to call your home. And we took great care of it as if it was our home. That's what makes me want to come back to this place because it is a place you can call home (home away from home). Most importantly, building a trusting relationship with the owners. They were so nice and so accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed. It was a great weekend. Wished it was longer. So, thank you for letting us stay in your home. We hope to come back soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had sooo much fun staying here. It snowed like crazy while we were there and they had all the sleds and shovels, (uurrggh) that we needed. The home was so cozy and wonderful. Great hills behind the house for sleding as well!! (just watch out for the rocks) Definately a great place to stay. Although we did bring our own food and such, they did have items avail if needed. We will definately stay there again. A very welcoming home and big enough for the whole family!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed a week in Flagstaff, and really enjoyed our stay. The house was well-kept, well-stocked, and a convenient location to get to the highway. We were able to visit many national parks and recreational areas within 1-2 hours from this central location. The owners were very easy to work with and conscientious. We had a party of 11, and were quite comfortable in this home. We would definitely recommend this property, and would stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: This is a picture of our family. We originally purchased the house because all three of our girls attended Northern Arizona University. We thought it would supply college room and board plus provide a vacation getaway from our hot climate in Tucson. We love Flagstaff and enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and shopping. Our food suggestion is to visit Coppa Cafe. The food is amazing. John and I grew up in Ohio and are avid Ohio State fans. Up until we listed our home on the homeaway program, we had our Ohio State flag flying.
Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff:
We chose this property because we liked the atmosphere of all the pine trees surrounding the house and it was a well maintained home.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The unique benefit of this house is that just out the backyard is a great hiking trail. It has multiple paths you can take and the main one leads to Thorpe Park. The park hosts disc golf which is a lot of fun.
