Experience the fun of Amelia Island living on Historic Fernandina Beach at our 2 level home that features a spacious setting with 3-bedrooms, and 3-full baths. Beautifully decorated in tropical beach style with all upscale furnishings and plush pillow top beds for a comfortable night's sleep. We take pride in keeping 'Our Jewel by the Sea' nice and clean for your arrival. Our townhome sleeps a total of six (6) guest (max) with two king and one queen bed. The main living area on the second level features open concept living for a roomy entertaining feel with it's high ceilings from the time you step into the kitchen, dining and living room area where you're sure to enjoy all the comforts of home. In the living room enjoy the 46 inch LCD HDTV/dvd after a fun-filled day at the beach or the many other activities like shopping or sightseeing you will find on the island. This home is designed for open living, dining and kitchen area offers dining seating for eight on the nights you prefer dinner at home. The cook in the family will love the kitchen area with views of the ocean at a glance from the sliding glass doors in the living room. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and custom cabinetry. It is fully equipped with all your kitchenware utensils with breakfast bar seating for three. From the main second floor, watch the early sunrise every morning along with your first cup of coffee and most days many other surprises such as, sailboats, shrimp boats, and on the best of sunny days, a beautiful array of colorful kites flying high over the beach and at high tide the beauty and sounds of the waves crashing ashore. And if you are lucky enough to be staying here during a full moon you will be amazed watching the moonlight dancing on the crashing waves and hearing the song of the sea from the balcony...a beautiful site and feeling to behold! These are some of the special things I love about the beach along with hearing live music at Slider's from our balcony and the short walking distance to popular area restaurants like Sliders, Cedar River Seafood, and for the ice cream lovers a Dairy Queen all in walking distance or a short ride to Cold Stone Creamery. After your treat, walk over to Hall's Beach Store to rent a bike to ride. Make sure during your trip you visit the downtown Historic district with all the quaint shops and Marina with wonderful restaurants nearby. Some of our favorites are The Crab Trap, 29 South or Brett's Waterway Cafe along with many other great choices downtown. After soaking up summer fun and ready to wind down, you'll find a sitting area at top of stairs, a great spot for conversation or to snuggle up in to read a good book. The bedroom on upper floor has a king size bed with the same identical deluxe pillow top mattresses as you will find in the Master Bedroom, along with a tile shower enclosed with glass door in the bath. Downstairs is where you will find the hallway leading to the Master Bedroom with king bed and 37inchTV/DVD and spacious master bath with two vanities, jacuzzi tub, and glass/tile shower stall. The Third bedroom is also located downstairs. Here you will find the Queen Bedroom with entrance to its own adjoining bath with full tub and shower combination. Along the hallway is the laundry closet that offers a new stackable washer and dryer for your use during your vacation. We supply linens for your stay. But, of course, you need to supply your beach needs such as beach towels, sunscreen, soap, shampoo, etc. You are sure to find numerous stores and restaurants nearby to meet all your needs. Our home comes with Dish network, high speed WiFi internet, local and free long distance telephone service excluding any international calls! You will enjoy having the use of the garage we use for hanging wet beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach wagon, and 2 boogie boards. Enjoy the use of our large Gas Grill or Charcoal Grill for your grilling convenience, right outside the garage door with great lighting in the wide paved parking lot. We have 2- Parking spaces available. No parking in Garage. There is an outside shower and water hose by the back entrance to wash off beach chairs and accessories. We looked long and hard to find our special place at the Beach and we hope you and your family will enjoy it as much as we do. As I always say, 'LIFE IS BETTER AT THE BEACH'!

Our home was decorated and nicely furnished to be our 2nd home before we decided to rent it occasionally for others to enjoy it the way we do. It is not a big home, but perfect for smaller families like our own, being parents of only two grown sons it was just the size we needed. We feel our home is perfect for a family or friends of six. We truly take pride and enjoy the beach, relaxing and all the fun our jewel by the sea has to offer. We hope our guest love this place as much as we do and all the fun things to do on the Island. We feel the closeness of walking distance to a few Restaurants comes in great for dinner. Our Townhouse is very comfortable for a total of six (6) guest maximum and is located right across the street from the ocean with fantastic views and within steps to the Beach & Sliders Restaurant, Fernandina Beach's only oceanfront tiki bar and dining overlooking the beach with live music. You may want to stay home and enjoy the sounds from the privacy of our balcony with the comfort of a love seat and cocktail bar- height table with seating for two will certainly give you the feel of beach fun. About the owner: We are a retired couple that love the area of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. We have both family and friends that live there on the Island and have been vacationing at it for over fifty years. We strive hard to make sure our guest feel at home as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes: We have stayed all over this island and looked long and hard before making a decision on what part of the beach we wanted to be at. The last home we stayed in before buying we notice it seemed as though the beach was closer to the homes. Sure enough, if you look at the map this area is closer...guess thats why they made the round-a-bout and Seaside Park a block from our home. For sure, it is a very popular area with a vacation vibe.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome: After searching for 4 years we finally found what we had been looking for. The brand new construction of this townhome was a delight with many extras like granite countertops, glass/tile baths,recessed and upscale lighting ,etc. after going into so many older homes and leaky ceiling condos..even though some were right on the beach, we preferred this home right across the street that had never been lived in and had all the features we were looking for and the area of the beach we wanted. It only took one look and we knew the short
steps across the street would be worth the walk to live in the
type of home we both desired...and we have never regretted it! It
is wonderful to be on the beach all day and to know our home is close enough to run home and have lunch and stroll back and
fourth with ease. In the evenings, we love being on the balcony
and listen to live beach music while sipping our favorite beverage
and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the sea breeze, or the
benefit of walking steps down to a wonderful restaurant for a
walk on the beach by moonlight.. just some of our favorite things to do close by. And If we want peace and quiet while watching a
favorite tv show or movie all we have to do is close the sliding
storm windows and pull the blinds. It truly offers the best of both
worlds: excitement or relaxation.
