My wife and I had a great time staying at this condo in the French Quarter. Although the condo is very small, it is in a great location -almost directly behind St Louis Cathedral- and a short walk around the block to Jackson Square. Being on the top (3rd) floor of the building, this condo gets great natural light and there is a nice view of the other rooftops from the balcony. The condo was very clean and well maintained, and very quiet. The queen-size bed was very comfortable.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This place is a great home base for adults in good physical condition. It is 3 flights up and a narrow balcony, thus the caution that people staying here need to be able to maneuver easily and not in fragile health. Comfy bed, a kitchenette with everything you need, and a small bath, a great sound system tuned to WWOZ--the best! Never turned the tv on so can't help you there. If you are in NOLA to hear music and have fun on the town, this is all you need. Plus, you have a great courtyard that gives you a place to eat outside and get away from other tourists for awhile. Frankly, I did not want to leave and would have been happy to stay here a month and write. Adena was a great communicator and everything went smoothly. Thanks a million!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay. The condo is perfect for two people who want to be in the middle of the French Quarter but away from the noise of Bourbon Street. The condo has everything you need for your stay was clean and as described in the details. We utilized the parking garage on St. Ann street right beside the condo, it was a bit pricey at $35.00 per 24 hours, but it provided a secure place for our car which was important to us. You can walk to everything in the French Quarter and still be close enough to the condo to make a stop to drop of packages or just grab a drink of water and relax for a few minutes. The owner is excellent to deal with and is very quick to answer questions and help with any concerns you might have. Bottom line, if you are looking for a quite little condo for two, in the middle of the French Quarter you will not be disappointed by staying here, I know we were pleased with our stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and I loved this cute, quaint, little abode! The property was easy to find, centrally located in the French Quarter, and suprisingly...VERY QUIET! We had a great stay and enjoyed all that New Orleans had to offer. We would definitely stay at this condo again. The owners are very responsive and easy to deal with. Wow, this place was clean, quiet, comfortable and the location is perfect. Twenty minutes from airport. Its like being at home. Wonderful decor and had everything you needed for a long or short stay. Even some basic items, coffee,tea, filters,toothpaste ,shaving cream etc.incase you forgot.The setup of the condo was very private and allowed for great relaxation(allow for this as this place is suited for that) but within a few steps we were in the middle of the Quarter, groceries, bars, restaurants, galleries, music literally outside the gate and you'd never know from within.It was great to see a band outside the gate playing music each day and never even knew until we excited the gate.Nice when you just want to sit outside and not go far. Neighbors were also very respectful and quiet, Infact, I loved the layout, would love to have one of my own.Very safe all hours of the day or night. What a jem. And dealing with Adena was an absolute pleasure, she was fast in response and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place. this apartment was ideal from top to bottom - location can't be better, the apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet, and we were in the middle of the Quarter with all the best restaurants, shops and art galleries nearby. The owner was very accommodating and we communicated easily to set up the visit. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you Adena! Awesome condo that met all my requirements: CLEAN! Centrally located! Great customer service (you responded so fast!)! Kitchen (even though we only needed the fridge)! We walked everywhere and loved the location! Royal St. is awesome because it still had plenty to do! There is more to NOLA than Bourbon! Loved the distance to Jackson Square! We will definitely be using you again! Great studio apartment in the perfect location! -It is a small place, but its all you really need for a stay in NOLA - a comfortable bed, a hot shower and a refrigerator for drinks and all the leftovers. -It is on the third floor- so if you have trouble with stairs, this might not be the best place for you. But if your able bodied, the stairs are nice to burn off some of the calories from all the delicious New Orleans food and drinks. -There is a deck outside the front door where you can see the steeple of the Cathedral. In the morning, you can use the church bells as an alarm clock (much better than my normal cell phone beeps). The apartment was perfectly clean with fully functioning air/heat. No complaints there. - There is no designated parking spot. I parked a few blocks away in a public lot next to Jackson Brewery (corner of Toulouse and Decataur). $25/day. You really don't need a car while visiting the French Quarter/Downtown areas. Its more of a pain to try to find parking spots than to just walk or take a cab or rickshaw. - While we were there, the first of the Mardi Gras parades went right past the front door on Royal Street. Amazing experience! Overall, I would recommend this place to any of my friends or family visiting NOLA.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Couldn't have asked for anything better for our NOLA vacation. Great location, great place, and everything was as advertised. Returning to the city for the first time in three years after having lived there for four years, Royal Living was definitely a unique location which gave us an entirely new take on NOLA living! Highly recommended to anyone traveling to New Orleans.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
