Shoalwater Condominium sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach, Alabama. This fifth floor unit is serviced by two elevators and features 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths...each bedroom has there own private full bathroom. You will also find a full wraparound balcony with access from the living room, the master bedroom, as well as a second bedroom. Updated flat screen TV's in everyroom, stream NetFlix or Pandora from the BluRay Player with WiFi in the Living Room. The fifth floor is high enough that you don't get a lot of noise from the pool areas during the day, but low enough that you can leave the bedroom sliding patio door open at night and listen to the waves crashing all night long. This balcony is a corner balcony giving you wide open views of the white sands and the Gulf of Mexico.
There is a large fully-furnished kitchen with breakfast bar. Beds include one King Size bed in the Master bedroom and a queen in each of the other two bedrooms. The dining table seats 6 with additional seating at the bar.
This building was built in 1996 and will provide you with one of the most enjoyable beach vacations ever! Relax in the indoor pool and Sauna, or bring the little ones to the kiddie pool outside on the huge pool deck. Adults can lounge around on the large outdoor Gulf-side pool, or enjoy working out in the exercise room indoors, or just sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins.
There are exceptional golf courses in the area. Excellent Gulf and backwater fishing, great dining, and fantastic shopping at our 120-store outlet mall. Gambling is just one hour and 45 minutes away in Biloxi, MS. If you feel a party coming on just head east down the beach for a few miles to the Florida state line. There you will find the iconic roadhouse 'The Flora-Bama Club'. This world famous club is on the beach and has live music every night.

I stayed for a long weekend with friends from medical school and I can speak for us all when I say this place was just lovely. I relied upon others' reviews of this condo and they were right--this condo has a great location and is very well kept up (e.g., granite countertops, full entertainment center, etc.) I would definitely recommend it to a friend and stay there again when I have the chance.Did you find this review helpful? We had an amazing stay at this condo. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable, and it was the perfect size for my husband and I, our 2 kids, and grandparents!! The beach was easy to get to and beautiful. One day when the weather was rainy the indoor pool was perfect to take the kids to. We really enjoyed our month vacation at Shoal Water Resort. Our condo was immaculate and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The bedding on the beds was good quality and the entire three bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The view with the wrap around balcony is priceless. The outdoor pool area as well as the indoor pool and hot tub was clean and beautiful. The large screen televisions in three rooms was a bonus! This condo was beautifully updated, and very spacious. The balcony is wonderfully spacious wrapping around the south and east side of the building providing an amazing view of the gulf! The facilitiy is very clean and quiet with a very nice, large pool area. All three bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated and provide plenty of space. It is also very close to grocery stores,several restuarants, and great shopping. We loved staying in this unit and look forward to booking it again soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I have stayed at several condos along the Emerald Coast and I have to say this unit TOPS THEM ALL!!! The renovations in this unit are beautiful. The granite counter tops, new appliances, Flat Screen TV's throughout the house and high quality sheets and comforters on the beds really set this unit apart from the rest. Enough with the inside, the balcony is unbelievable. It's Huge!!!! My wife and I and our children spent every evening on the balcony enjoying the beautiful sunsets. What a GREAT UNIT!!!! We will be booking it for next summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I was very pleased when I arrived at 506 Shoalwater to see the wonderful and very tasteful renovations that were recently completed. The condo looked fantastic with the new beddding in every room, the upgrades made with granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, new light fixtures and fans, flat screen TV's in every room as well as fresh and soothing paint colors throughout the condo. The view from the large balcony was wonderful, especially listening to the waves crashing every morning as I woke up and had coffee on the balcony. This condo was fully equipped and had everything you need in the kitchen which was great for me since we like to cook. The location was very convenient in regards to shopping, eating and just tooling around to see the area. Orange Beach has so much to offer and we enjoyed staying at 506 Shoalwater. We will definitely make our reservations for next year soon and hopefully stay at the same unit. It was definitely worth it!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This condo had a huge balcony...we stayed there most of the time when we weren't on the beach. It was close to all the restaurants and watering holes as well. Thank god we decided on getting the 3 bedroom and not the 2 bedroom... also very nice that each bedroom had their own bathroom... very nice! Hope to come back soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I vacationed to Orange Beach after going to Destin for several years. We just fell in love with the vibe that Orange Beach had to offer. The white sand beaches and the nice restaurants, golf courses, and water sports were too good to pass up. We ended up buying this condo before we had to head back home. We are from Louisiana (5 hrs away) and look forward to our get away place in Orange Beach!
Why the Owner Chose Shoalwater:
This corner unit has the biggest balcony we could find! We had to have a 3BR, 3BA because we have a large family. We hope that this condo will be a part of the many memories that you will leave with when visiting Orange Beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Along with the beach chairs and daily umbrella rentals, the vast pool deck was unique to this particular complex. Of course, the big balcony was also appealing and something that enabled us to really appreciate the beach and water view.
