  For the most part the house was great. The location is great and its a gorgeous home but whoever built the house didn't realize that walking up 3 stories is a hassle. It was just me and my gf and it was still a hassle every time you wanted to go to the kitchen or anything. The amenities weren't great at all, no towels, no where to hang your towels or clothes. Not enough pillows, very worn out couch in the living room, and the house makes a lot of noises at night. The view is amazing the interior is amazing even though it is a little tacky every room is painted a different color and some of the decorations are just weird. But the main thing was that i paid a more amount of money than most people do for rent for a whole month just for one weekend and they make the check out time on Sunday at 10am. They don't allow you to sleep in and enjoy a cup of coffee and relax a little bit before you head out. I would stay again if they changed the check out to atleast 12 and had more amenities

  This house is close to being the perfect beach rental, but for a few strange shortcomings. First the good...It is directly on the beach in an absolutely gorgeous beach town. The balconies give you amazing views out onto the water and the rooftop setup gave you a 360 degree view of the landscape. The house itself is beautiful and has easy access to shops and restaurants. The bad (and why I didn't give it 5 stars) starts with the fact that there are no towels in the entire house. I mean literally, not even a hand towel. Which seems strange to me because you have to pay $200 in cleaning fees and there is a washer/dryer on the second floor. Second, the living room furniture can only be described as shabby. The builder clearly spent a lot of time and money on the little details of the house, it seems a shame to put "throw away" furniture in such a nice place. I still had an amazing time and would rent this place again, but if the owner invested a little more money, this place would be perfect.

  We visited with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had never been to Folly Beach and found this place through a friend. This place was amazingly close to the beach and good restaurants, very comfortable, and we had a blast! The place was clean and well maintained and we had all the imenties we desired. We will return!

  We loved it!!! We will be back! It doesn't get any better than this Villa! You are so close to the beach - it's wonderful. Folly Beach is great too - super cute town!

  Pictures do not do justice to this vacation villa. Perfect location. Beautiful location on the beach. Ocean views throughout. Loved it. Can't wait to do it again.

  I decided to surprise my family visiting from Arizona with a trip to my favorite beach. I wanted to treat them to a luxurious house on the ocean. At first glance it was: amazing location, stunning view, elegant furnishings. There were, however, areas of disappointment given the price and my expectation. It's worth noting that this house is not a place for handicapped individuals nor children (of which both were in our party). It is four levels and it became very difficult for the elderly in the house to get from floor to floor. Also, there are no bathtubs for children to be bathed in. If you don't have children or elderly/handicapped in your party, then the house would be suited for you. The showers were gorgeous, but bring plenty of extra towels as there seemed to be more water outside of the shower than inside. As I mentioned earlier, the view is spectacular, from every room, but there are no window coverings and was very difficult for our one year old to sleep on his regular schedule. After the first night, we decided to put his pack and play in the closet and sleep went much better after that. Another point is that the rooftop bar was a huge selling point for me but was a big let down. It was extremely difficult to access (from a ladder on the 4th floor balcony) and was in bad condition with a ton of cigarette butts. Very dissapointing as I was looking forward to cocktails each evening but we never did get to enjoy it due to the condition and access. In addition, the house had a terrible odor - one which we assumed was cigarette smoke. Perhaps the owners were smokers, but all of our clothes had to be washed upon our return due to the odor. All is all, it was a nice stay given the amazing location and elegant style to the house; but just be aware of some of the negatives that I noted.

  At one time this must have been a very nice house. First it has a master on 4th floor and 2nd so dragging you luggage is no fun. The furnishing in the den is shabby and uncomfortable. The TV in the 2nd floor bedroom was sitting on a stand at the end of the bed with wiring all over the floor. Never worked but was not good location for our 3 year old granddaughter. The windows in bedrooms had no covering -view was great but you couldn't put the child down till dark and she was up at sunrise. The issue with no towels being furnished was a big deal for us -we brought our own but washing them in the small apt size stacked washer and dryer was impossible. The roof top area was difficult to get to - a ladder on the 4th story master patio - just a small area cut out and a ladder inserted. The location and access to the beach was great and the out door shower was perfect to get sand off before entering the house. This house is really for max two couples with one or two children that don't need their own baths. It has only 2 full baths
