  My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Cloudcroft and we were very pleased! The place was decorated so nicely, everything you might need was provided, and the views were to die for! The home is located on a quiet street, but still close to downtown Blowing Rock. In fact, we had such a lovely weekend at Cloudcroft that we got engaged! I know we will be back in the future to remember our time there. I highly recommend this cabin!

  Cloudcroft was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Great amenities, clean home, luxury towels and sheets. Easy arrival and departure. Loved it!

  We had a great weekend stay in the appropriately named 'Cloudcroft'. We were quite literally in the clouds on occasion. Wonderful view of the Blue Ridge mountains on a clear day. The cabin was well situated, close enough to downtown Blowing Rock to get morning coffee and donuts takeout if need be and mini van accessible. This was important as we stayed during snow and ice and other properties required 4 wheel drive. We had trouble with the keypad on arrival and the owner was immediately contactable by phone so we were able to get in, which was a relief. The cabin was very clean. The bedding in both rooms has been updated since the photos, it looked new and was very stylish. Our kids enjoyed first time skiing and snowboarding at the Appalachian ski resort, which is the closest to the cabin and great for beginners. Recommend the 3 private lesson package with the swiss-ski school. Excellent kid-friendly instructors. Our dog enjoyed walks around Bass lake, which is a short drive from the cabin. The only downside was there was not enough hanging space by the front door for all our ski clothes. Some extra pegs on the wall might be helpful. Thank you for a great weekend getaway.

  First VRBO experience, and we were very pleased. The cabin was clean, cozy, and immaculately decorated. The owners were friendly and accessible. The view is among the best in the area. Everything we thought we needed to bring was already there. I have already recommended it to friends, and will look forward to making it a tradition for our family.

  Cloudcroft is a lovely cottage with comfortable furnishings and an excellent location. It is close enough to town to shop, eat (Storie Street Grill--yumm!), run errands etc., but secluded just enough to enjoy quiet, peaceful moments when desired. It's very close proximity to the world class Westglow Spa was an added bonus for me. It was great to enjoy my day spa package at Westglow and be within minutes of my accommodations. The mountain views from the back deck are beautiful and a pefect backdrop for enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a good book. As others have said, Cloudcroft was very neat and clean and has possibly been painted recently giving it a more updated look. Very nice and a good value! Next time I will bring my friends!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cloudcroft. Fabulous view, clean & plenty of linens. It is very quiet and not on a thorough fair. Wonderful covered deck. We definetely would stay there again.

  We had a wonderful stay at Cloudcroft. The view east provided some gorgeous sunrises, and the porch was a great place for reading. Hardwood floors were pretty and everything was very clean and neat upon our arrival. Being close to Blowing Rock and the parkway was great too; we could hike during the day and enjoy a tasty dinner in Blowing Rock in the evening. This is a great cabin for a couple or small group, and the owner was very nice and answered our questions about the property quickly. We'll definitely consider renting it again!

  Cloudcroft was exactly what we were looking for...a cozy mountain cottage with an amazing view! It was very peaceful, yet close enough to get to downtown Blowing Rock. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the cottage, the plush bedding, and the small details that made us feel right at home! We look forward to our next visit!

  very clean house. Fabulous view off back deck. All amenities, fully-stocked kitchen. My second time at Cloudcroft. Would definitely recommend.

  The cabin was very clean, beautifully decorated and in a great location. The owner's were most efficient in handling a problem that arose which is important in a rental property. The only slight negative for a family with children would be the cozy size and the washer/dryer is down a flight of stairs on the outside of the house which in inclement weather would be difficult.
