  We just returned from our weekend in Glen Ellen and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This rental as has been mentioned is newly built with top of the line appliances. We were a group of 9 and enjoyed cooking breakfast at the house, kitchen came fully stocked with everything you may need. The heated pool was amazing after a long day of wine tasting, and also appreciated the place coming with pool towels. The place is relaxing and inviting, and looks even better in person than in the pictures. The location is ideal- love staying in places where you can walk into town for groceries, dining out etc. The owner, Joe, was very accessible and we appreciated all his recommendations about the area. We will definitely be back. If you stay here, would recommend walking to Benzinger winery, beautiful walk where you can see deer, pheasants etc. along the way.

  I had such a wonderful stay here in Glen Ellen. The place is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Everything was brand new and each room was spacious, with the kitchen having everything you needed.This place was so relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. There are so many things to do in the area and the owner was so helpful with directions. The Jack London Park is within walking distance and explains the attraction of the town. There are places in town to eat that are delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. Sonoma is very close and has so many cute shops and restaurants. We went to San Francisco, Alcatraz, cable car and Ghiardelli Square and a winery. And if you just want to relax there is a gorgeous, super clean swimming pool with a BBQ at the Villa. This place has everything to make a vacation relaxing and stress free. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to visit again!

  I spent 5 days here with some family in September and it was such a wonderful place to stay. It felt like a home away from home. The beds were so comfortable. Everything is new and clean. The decor is beautiful, yet inviting. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal or just have lunch or breakfast in. I loved the Keurig coffee maker- such a nice touch. This property is such a jewel, not only for its comfort and beauty, but for the amazing location. We literally could walk to the Benzinger winery. Several other wineries are a just a drive away. The downtown is so charming. Don't miss the local grocery store for a wonderful hot breakfast. Also, there are amazing restaurants within walking distance or a super short drive. You will fall in love with this place if you try it. And I warn you - you WILL want to go back again! :)

  I recently stayed at this gorgeous, newly built Glen Ellen property and would highly recommend this to anyone! The home is beautifully decorated and boasts a spacious living space and full kitchen. When you step outside into the backyard you are welcomed by a neatly manicured landscape that is perfect to entertain a BBQ, sip some wine, or even swim in the pristine pool. The other wonderful thing about this property is its excellent location. It is perfectly located in a peaceful hillside with breath-taking views. It is only a short walk to explore Jack London State Park as well as a short drive to many of Sonoma and Napa Valleys equisite wineries. It is even a reasonable drive to San Francisco. And, I must say, the owner was extremely accomodating and always very helpful. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and unwind!

  Wonderful location. Were able to walk to winery, town, walking paths and Jack London Park. Had all the amenities of home and then some. Loved the washer and dryer. Property was clean and had all the furnishings. Enjoyed the backyard and pool. Would recommend to family and friends. Looking forward to going back.

  I spent a girls’ week in this property and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic with several wineries within walking distance and the Jack London State Park up the road, which was a great location for scenic morning hikes. Downtown Glen Ellen features great restaurants, shops and a convenient market for groceries and prepared foods and was also an easy trip (less than ten minutes walking and less than five by car). Aside from the activities within walking distance, there are some great sights and activities that require a drive of 30 minutes or less. We took a day trip to St. Helena (which had great shops) and also drove to Napa to enjoy some wine tastings and picnics. The house itself (we rented both units) easily accommodated 10 of us and was beautifully decorated with accents that made it feel very “homey”. The kitchens include plenty of counter space for meal prep, and the outside area is great for evening dinners by the pool! Another added bonus was the washer/dryer in each unit, which allowed us to do any needed laundry throughout the week. I also noticed that everything in the home is new (appliances, beds and all other furnishings) and meticulously kept. All areas were very clean made it very evident that the attention to detail was very important to the owners. In all, I loved the area and this property in particular, which allowed for a lovely stay in wine country.
