This 3-bedroom, 2-bath upper-level unit is full of original Folly Beach charm. The house was built in the 1930s, but has recently been completely renovated to add all of the modern conveniences while at the same time restoring the classic look of a Folly Beach cottage to each unit.
The home is ideally located for visitors who want to walk to all of the local attractions. The beach, the pier, and BLU, the only ocean front restaurant and bar in the Charleston area, are within easy walking distance (2 blocks). Center Street's restaurants and shops are just a block away. Downtown Charleston, with its historic architecture, carriage rides, museums, and fine dinning is less than 15 minutes away as well.
The home itself is just as ideal as its location. Visitors can lounge on one of two wonderful porches. The shady front porch runs the length of the house and gets a fabulous beach breeze. It is a perfect spot to catch up on your beach reading or to watch the world go by; you can even catch a glimpse of the ocean. The back porch, a sunny spot outfitted with a table and chairs, is a perfect spot to soak up some sun, have lunch, or watch the sunset.
From the front porch, step into the main living area which includes the living room and dinning room. The home's hardwood floors, original wood paneling, architectural details, and eight large windows give this space a bright, classic beach cottage look.
There are three lovely bedrooms in the home. The king bedroom has a crisp, classic decor and is equipped with a flat screen TV. The adjacent bedroom has two twin beds and a decor that is fun and festive. These two rooms share a stylish bathroom that boasts a claw-foot tub. The queen bedroom has its own private bath and french doors opening onto the back porch.
The kitchen is bright, spacious, and includes gorgeous granite counter-tops and all of the amenities. The cooks in your party will appreciate the attention to detail and will be able to whip up a fantastic dinning experience with ease. Every gadget and accessory has been provided, so don't worry about bringing your micro-zester from home!
Additionally, the home has such conveniences as a washer and dryer and free WiFi. On your arrival, you'll find a welcome basket that will ease the unpacking process.
We have a no-smoking and a no-pet policy. We rent by the week in the summer.

About the owner: Brad and I have been living on Folly Beach for nine years. We gutted and renovated our own home and enjoyed the process so much that we have renovated several other properties. Brad does all of the work himself and his attention to detail really shows. We live right around the corner from our rental property, so if you need anything, just let us know.
