- The City of London is an area in central London, England. In the medieval period it constituted most of London, but the conurbation has grown far beyond it. As the City’s boundaries have remained almost unchanged since the Middle Ages, it is now only a tiny part of the metropolis, though it remains a notable part of central London, holds city status in its own right, and is a separate ceremonial county. The City is today a major business and financial centre, ranking alongside New York City as the leading centre of global finance; throughout the 19th century, the City served as the world's primary business centre, and continues to be a major meeting point for businesses to this day. London came top in the Worldwide Centres of Commerce Index, published in 2008. The other major financial district in London is Canary Wharf, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the east. The City has a resident population of a little over 11,000, but around 316,700 people work there, mainly in the financial services sector. The legal profession forms a major component of the western side of the City, especially in the Temple and Chancery Lane areas; these are where the Inns of Court are located, of which two — Inner Temple and Middle Temple — fall within the City of London boundary....moreless

Thanks god we chose this apartment
It's a very good apartment with excellent location.bus station 1 minute walk and metro station 5 minutes on foot.beds chairs and sofa were very comfortable and generally the apartment and bathrooms were clean.all the privileges tha site mentioned turned out to be true.as long as you can stay without a hotel service,I'd reccomend this apartment to anyone.this thing with the door codes(there are no keys to the apartment) is perfect.the only lets say negative point is that there is some noise from the road.we were first floor .but who cares ???london baby...

Great experience! Highly recommend!
We were the lucky first guests in this flat. I cannot say enough good things about it. It was located close to a Tube station right across the street!!, a Tesco and the Spitalfield Market and restaurants. We had everything we needed within walking distance. The flat was comfortable, nicely decorated and functional. We were able to prepare meals for nights in and do our laundry. While not overly spacious, there was enough room for our family. The neighborhood is a busy one so it could get noisy in the evenings if the windows were open. But we quickly adapted to that without too much trouble. The staff was very helpful with our arrival and at promptly addressing some first time guest issues such as internet trouble and help figuring out the applicances. Everyone was friendly, professional and efficient. We would definitely stay in the flat again!
