My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this Carneros Cottage this past Sunday and Monday. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, fresh oranges from the garden and a great welcome from Kelly the owner. She has chickens, two horses Rusty and Hank, and two dogs Nacho and Peanut, and a cat. Kelly's property is called the Funny Farm, it is full of whimsical and charming nick nacks and windchimes. She was a terrific host and ambassador for Napa Valley. She told us some great places to see, had terrific bikes that we used one afternoon, and made our trip truely memorable! Our stay was the highlight of our trip. The cassita was warm, charming, great bed, and very warm. Thanks Kelly for your hospitality and as Kelly says, "there are no bad days on the Funny Farm! Do yourself a favor and stay here!!!!! Hope we see you again soon! Mike & Kathy BarfieldRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My girlfriend and I both had a wonderful time! We loved the "off the beaten track" atmosphere and found the location was still close enough to do whatever we wanted. The cottage was clean, cozy, and private. Everything was perfect!!!! We are looking forward to staying at the casita again!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I can't say enough about the cottage, the grounds, and Kelley herself. My fiance and I were looking for somewhere a bit off the beaten path but still close to everything we wanted to see and do, and Kelley's casita ended up being the perfect choice. The cottage is small but very well-appointed and the farm surrounding it, as well as Kelley's outdoor catering area is awesome, both gorgeous and kitschy. I can't recommend it enough, and I should add that as a further bonus, she keeps the hot tub hot, a rarity in the rental business. Thanks so much Kelley, for your friendliness, hospitality, and allowing us to have such an amazing weekend!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a really nice visit with Kelley at her Casita over New Year's Eve. The weather was a bit chilly, but all was warm and cozy inside the Casita. The property is beautiful and really conveniently located between Napa and Sonoma. We took day trips to Calistoga and Yountville, about 20-30 minutes away. The Carneros Inn is also 2 minutes away and we spent NYE there. There isn't a kitchen in the Casita, but there is a coffee maker and a mini-fridge. Kelley was nice enough to let us use her kitchen to make dinner one night and also let us use the washer / dryer (not to mention folding the clean laundry!). Her dogs are wonderful and the chickens were pretty cool too! Thank you Kelley!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

My partner and I were lucky to be among Kelley's first guests at her Carneros Cottage. Three months later, we still have fond memories of that wonderful weekend getaway, thus I felt the need to go on VRBO and look up her listing to leave a review - only to find that 10 others have already beat me to the punch! What can I add, that others haven't already raved about? Location: You're nearly across the street from the Carneros Inn, but paying 1/4 the price. Service: The daily fresh supply of Peets coffee beans and organic half-and-half is just one example of the 4 star service. Quality Decor: From the comfortable, new bed to the newly remodeled bathroom - there's nothing Ikea about this place. We even had a huge bouquet of fresh, fragrant roses in the bathroom - no can of rose-scented Glade for this place! If you are considering staying at this property, JUST DO IT! BOOK IT, BEFORE SOMEONE LUCKIER THAN YOU BEATS YOU TO IT! Kelley is the consummate host, equally able to leave you to yourselves to decompress in your own private, peaceful, and beautiful space, but also willing to generously welcome you into her magical community of friends and farm animals.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed on a busy holiday weekend for a friend's wedding in Napa. The few times we went into Napa, we were overwhelmed by the number of people. But that was not the case on Kelley's beautiful property. The casita is wonderful, and we often just sat outside and watched all the birds and insects frolic in the garden. We also had a lot of fun playing ping pong and exploring the creek bed. Kelley was a great host and full of great recommendations. I can't wait till we stay here again, and till we eat breakfast at Boonfly Cafe again. Delicious!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at Kelley's cottage was excellent. We really enjoyed being out away from town. It was nice and quiet, very relaxing. All the greenery was beautiful, especially the sunflowers. Loved watching Hank, the horse, get his pedicure. Had a great time. Mike and NancyRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came here for wedding and enjoyed our stay. Kelley is very accommodating, but also gives plenty of privacy. The casita has everything you need and more. Being a nature lover, I really loved the farm and all the animals. We took the bikes out to go wine tasting and had a great time. Last time we came to Napa, we rented bikes for this purpose, but it was an added bonus that the bikes are at the casita for use if you are staying there. Overall, a great bargain! I almost didn't want to write a review for fear that it might get too popular. :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I, plus our small dog, stayed here for the weekend. Really enjoyed the farm atmosphere, beautiful rustic gardens everywhere, even a chicken coop and a horse. Owner is extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Her chickens lay the best-tasting eggs! The cottage is extremely clean, looks like it was redone. We enjoyed the ping pong table. Would love to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
