SORRY - RENTED FOR SUMMER OF 2012, ANY INTERESTED PARTIES FOR ENTIRE SUMMER OF 2013??
NOT YOUR TYPICAL SUMMER RENTAL - We are looking for one special tenant who wants to spend the summer at the beach. The owner's unit (upper 3 bedroom/2 bath) of our Duplex Home will be available from June 15, 2012 to August 31, 2012. Our charming duplex home is located feet from the sand on the amazing mile long Peninsula which stretches between the Pacific Ocean and Alamitos Bay providing you not ONE, but TWO beaches to choose from! Steps to the calm waters of Bay Side Walk/Beach for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, gondola rides, swimming, views of Naples Island, sailboat rentals, great for kids.... Or cross the street to Seaside Walk and the 'Ocean' Side' beach for waves, kite surfing, shelling, watch the sailboats or dolphins pass by, views of Catalina and amazing sunsets. Our upper floor unit has just been renovated with a new elegant open concept living area and custom kitchen. The comfortable great room has Ocean and Bay views, vaulted ceiling, wood/gas fireplace, 46' Flatscreen TV and DVD. Our newly remodel kitchen has granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar. The large Master Bedroom Suite has a CA King Bed, 37' FlatScreen TV, gorgeous en suite bathroom, and lovely private deck with barbeque, bistro table and seating. The large second bedroom has a queen size bed and seating area. The third bedroom acts as an office or added guest/ bedroom - It's brand new leather sleeper sofa has a new 'coil spring/air mattress combo' Queen mattress to provide a comfortable sleep to guests. The comfy living room sectional couch also has this same 'combo' queen mattress feature providing sleeping for a total of 8. Wifi and cable included. Again, this is not your typical tired vacation rental - This is our beautifully decorated and appointed home.
Hang out on the Peninsula or stroll to 2nd Street for shops, restaurants and nightlife. Bring or borrow our beach cruisers to hit the beach bike path that starts at the Peninsula and ends 6 1/2 miles later at the Queen Mary, Aquarium and Shoreline Village. Along the way you pass the Olympic Pool (open to the public) Volleyball courts, kite surfing, dog park, Belmont Pier, Convention Center and the Shoreline Marina. Concerts in the park, July 4th Block party..... this Peninsula duplex is a hidden jewel among beach properties listed in Southern CA. This is our home, but we are sharing it with you while we go spend the summer on our yacht:)

About the owner: We love living on the beautiful Peninsula, but we enjoy sailing our 65' sailboat around the world even more! After six years of full time cruising on our yacht, we are going parttime - living in our lovely beach home during the school year and spending school holidays on our yacht. This creates a special opportunity for long term guests looking for an elegant home to spend the summer.
