We love Niagara on the Lake and have such positive experiences there. For several years we had stayed at a Vintage Property and had loved its coziness and perfect location which allowed us walk most places. When we attempted to book that property again this year, we found it unavailable. Fortunately, your property was offered as a comparable alternative and we decided to take a chance and book it. How fortunate we were to stay at Luisa's Suite Retreat! It was lovely, beautifully decorated, and centrally located. Your added touches such as the treat bag was very nice. Indeed, you made us feel welcome and we both feel that the accommodations added to our enjoyment of our long week-end. This was our first visit to NOTL and we shared the Truffles and Biscotti Suites with friends. What a wonderful stay!! The Suites were very upscale - beautifully appointed with every amenity that we could want. The bathrooms were updated and spotless. And the location was ideal - just half a block from the main street and all the shops. NOTL was charming and beautiful with flowers everywhere! We rented ESkooters and visited the wineries. Ton's of fun. Maria's recommendations of restaurants were spot on - loved them! We decided to make this an annual trip and will definitely be staying here!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The property as well as the owners were absolutely amazing! The location in the middle of historic downtown cannot be beat. The best part about it all, however, is how welcoming and accommodating the owners are. The service was second to none and could easily have been the best service we've ever received! What a wonderful location and accommodation! We stayed in the Tortierre Suite and had a great view of the carriages and people passing by from our balcony. Maria provided us with a bbq which we used to have a wonderful dinner and enjoy our wine. We would absolutely recommend Luisa's Suite Retreat for any couple, family, or small group of friends. The location allows walking to ALL THREE theaters as well as the main street, which hosts the area's best shops and restaurants. This saves on parking costs and makes the visit less stressful, as guests enjoy reserved spaces behind the building. There is also a bike rental shop not too far away. We stayed in the Truffles Suite but Maria gave us a peek of the other rooms available. These adjoining rooms allow a few couples to plan a trip together, or a family or extended family to do the same. Each is private but near the other. All units we saw were immaculately clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Cleaning service was daily, unlike other multi-day apartments elsewhere. Truffles (and I believe another room) had a terrace, which we enjoyed with a glass of wine as the sun set (while listening to my son play guitar). We also ate breakfast there. We made good use of the kitchen for breakfast and lunch, and sometimes dinner. It had everything we needed, and offered coffee, tea and sugar/creamer also. We found the freedom of an ensuite arrangement to be more to our liking versus being attended to at a B&B at set times that are not flexible when it comes to enjoying a cup of coffee, snack, or meal. I visited Niagara on the Lake for my mother's 76th birthday, with my two sons and husband. My mom is from Italy. We arrived at the suite to find a torte with "Happy Birthday" written in Italian in the refrigerator, as well as champagne, chocolate, and homemade cookies. This gesture, and getting to meet Maria and her beautiful family, were one of the highlights of our trip. Maria is a warm and professional innkeeper who is welcoming yet soft-spoken, and focused on her mission of serving her guests. After we mentioned the eggplant in our home garden was not doing well, the next day we found a gift of eggplant in a basket mixed with other vegetables from her own garden! I am sure she learned this hospitality from her mother, whose picture with a bike in the countryside graces the entry. Guests will find the location quiet even though it is near a restaurant, which was never an issue for us. The restaurant is rated highly, and extremely convenient to enjoy. Another convenience is a nearby pharmacy. Any loading we observed took place late in the morning, and did not hamper our movement in the parking lot. WE WILL VISIT AGAIN!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

It is so rare that a place will exceed your expectations! The pictures were very accurate, but the reality was even better: neat, clean, well provided with towels, utensils, appliances, and enough space for a school dance. Could hardly be more central, parking by the door; Maria was the soul of assistance, answering emails almost immediately. There was a glitch in the internet connection on our second night -- they were there to fix it in 20 minutes. Would definitely call here first for all future overnight trips to NOTL. And yes, we have stayed in all the top local hotels.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed one night at this lovely suite. We highly recommend it, it is very clean and wellmaintained. It is beautifully furnished. The owners are very helpful and very nice! The suite was prepared excellent for our stay. This lovely apartmenthouse is very close to the old town, you can walk everywhere and leave the car on the parkinglot. Although it is very quiet. It is just great. We recommend the irish harp a pub just next door for good food and nice atmosphere. there is also the gate house, Giardino, an italian restaurant where you can easily walk to (expensiv but good food and a beautiful outdoor area)Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Both the property and the owner were amazing! We had so much space in this room - kitchen, bath, dining area, living area and bed area..and a nice deck to relax on outside! The owner was so attentive and was always available when needed. This is the perfect place to stay to park your car and just walk around town! The furnishings in here were new, elegant and relaxing. It is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The By-Law for Sundays and Statutory Holidays is 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.Please respect this By-Law.
