This was the perfect spot for 7 girlfriends to get away from it all. The condo is lovely, spacious and well stocked. It is located on the 4th fairway of the golf course with a vista into the forest. The back deck is a fantastic gathering spot at the end of the day. There were many, many activities to be had in the area and we took advantage of several of them from boating on Sardine Lake to a chuckwagon dinner at a guest ranch and then there's the golf - wow! The condo is within walking distance of the clubhouse and restaurant for a drink or a great meal. This place would be great for couples too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Spring, Summer or Fall, this is a wonderful place to stay. The home has a well supplied kitchen, clean and appeasing bathrooms, and comfortable beds and bedding. The decorative touches make one feel spoiled, yet very much at home. Overall, this IS the place to stay that offers all the creature comforts one looks for during a vacation or special get-a-way. The location is accessible to many different attractions for young and mature alike. The Plumas Pines Golf Course is well groomed, the Pro Shop offers the latest in golf attire and golf equipment and Longboards Restaurant offers an outstanding menu. Golf at both Graeagle and Nakoma's Dragon is spectacular. Dinners at the Green Horn Ranch, Iron Door Restaurant in Johnsville are delicious. Breakfast at the Blairsden Bakery is fun and tasty. Shopping in Graeagle offers a variety that is never disappointing. There is much to do, or you can do absolutely nothing and just soak up the pleasures of this wonderful get-a-way.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Great location, right on Plumas Lakes Golf Course. Other courses nearby. We had 8 people and were all very comfortable. Hiked, played golf twice nearby (Graegle/Dragon), dined, games, and just enjoyed experience. Will definitely try to return if available (once secret out-may be tough).Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

About the owner: Retired Executive Search Consultant and vineyard owner. Currently live in Hidden Valley Lake in Northern California which is about a 220 mile drive from Graeagle. Active with many sports and participate in many club and organizational activities. Often come here with my Cairn Terrier, Callie that never lets me forget that walks are one of the best parts of being here.
Why the Owner Chose Blairsden:
It has always been a favorite place for my family and friends to visit ever since I can remember. There is just something magical about this area - so quiet, serene, and for some reason every time I come here feel my spirits rise and get excited like a kid may feel the first time they go to Disneyland. Might sound a little silly but once you have come here for the first time, you might well feel the same!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
This home is well appointed and has many comforts that will make the stay here appealing to many. Facing the Feather River one is also going to hear the famous Feather River trains pass on and off throughout the day and the views of the river and unobstructed natural forest makes one feel they are in an isolated place. There is even a bald eagles nest in one of the large pines across the river and one often sees him/her flying to the nest at various times of the day.
