This is one of the largest, most well-kept homes in downtown Newport with 5 large bedrooms (1 queen and 4 fulls), a huge kitchen with an island, 1 1/2 very nice bathrooms, a large gardened fenced-in backyard, a large driveway for parking for 2 vehicles, and road side parking. My home is truly a home away from home for many, with only a short walk to downtown Newport on Thames St. for tons of shopping, food, and fun, and an even shorter walk down to the water front for a beautiful view at the public pier where you can fish and swim at your hearts desire. The beach is only 2 miles away, where you can enjoy the beautiful views and water at Easton's Beach and First & Second beach. Feeling lucky? There is a casino just 2 miles away where you can try your luck at winning the big one. The house is beautiful, if minimalist, and perfect for an inexpensive family visit to Newport. Location is great and convenient to everything.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The unique benefits are endless -- The waterfront is a short walk down the road where you'll find a large public pier for fishing, swimming, and more (and the view.. whew.. you need to see it for yourself). Thames St. is never-ending fun -- there are many, many fantastic restaurants, shopping locations, bars, and activities, and it's only a short walk right down the road from the house. To top it off, this is one of the few homes in Newport in this great of condition, with a big fenced in backyard, driveway, and tons of sleeping space.
