The house fit the 10 of us(4 adults and 6 kids) very comfortably and is nicely finished and clean. Our stay was very enjoyable. This was our first vacation rental experience so I didn't know what to expect. Everything we needed was supplied to us and the neighbours even lent us their kayaks for the week. I wish I could wake up every morning, walk outside, and go kayaking. The lake was really nice for the younger kids because the water stays fairly shallow until the end of the dock. The only thing I was disappointed about, which has nothing to do with the property, was the lack of cliffs around the lake. I enjoy cliff jumping and was not able to do any while I was there. But if cliff jumping is something you would like to do I am sure there is somewhere near by to go I was just too busy enjoying everything else. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing vacation. Make sure to talk to Jamie when booking, he was very quick to respond to my inquiries and was easy to deal with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Born and raised in Calgary and always on the go I needed to find a place to get away from it all, so in 2005 I bought this piece of land and built my home away from home. It was the best thing I've ever done....you never get sick of the views and there's nothing like sitting by the water with a cold drink. What I like most about it?? Everything!!!
Why the Owner Chose Invermere:
This is a beautiful 2500sqft cabin that sleeps 10 comfortably. Located at the end of a private cul-de-sac, on the lake, with incredible views of the mountains and water. There is a 6 person hot tub and firepit to enjoy, plus your a short walk to parks and playground for the kids or tennis and little shops and eateries for the whole family to enjoy. There is nothing like this in the valley for summer/winter rental. This is a 10/10....you'll want to come back every year!
