When I was planning our family vacation to Disney, I started my search by looking at resorts on Disney property... WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for a place to sleep! A friend of mine told me to look into www.homeaway.com and it let me to Gloria's property. Let me tell you, when I first say her listing I was so skeptical and worried it was a scam... I purchased SO much insurance. This is no scam, her rental is beautiful. Everything she described was real and better than we had expected, the pictures do not show the actual size of the home. It is basically a townhome, fully equipped! We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! Everything was super clean, the front security gate stays closed and the neighborhood is quiet. My children loved the sponge bob room and enjoyed having a Wii and pool table there for when we had some down time. The clubhouse with the pool was also very nice, although we didn't spend much time there due to bad weather. The only thing I would suggest to parents with small children, bring two large baby gates... the hallway to the steps is wide! Other than that... everything was there, even a pack and play, THREE strollers, a pool innertube and lawn chairs! If you are looking for an excellent place to stay... look no further! Gloria was very helpful and always easy to get in contact with! Near the home are so many great restaurants such as: Bonefish, Longhorn, Golden Corral, IHOP, Bahama Breeze, Buffalo Wild Wings, Flippers Pizza*, Red Lobster and lots more! The super target is within 2 min as well as the Publix. I could go on and on about how wonderful this experience was for my family, thank you!Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Great location and clean, clean, clean. My family enjoyed staying here and we had everything we needed for a week's stay. My grandsons loved the pool table, wii, and the bunk beds. Great place. The pool and playground were a nice bonus.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had great times in Oakwater, all was perfect! The house is fully equipped, all is clean, new and works perfect! We will be back soon, surely.Recommended for: Families with young children

The condo was exactly as described. It is located 2 miles to Animal Kingdom. The home was very spacious and clean. Booking process was painless. We did have some trouble with the dryer, as it took 2 or 3 cycles to get anything dry. Other than that (and the ants!) we were very pleased. I would definitely consider staying there again. (Just a note: We wanted a gated community for safety for the kids. The gate was not locked or even closed the entire week we were there.)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Turns out lightning had struck the gate just before your arrival. The management team at Oakwater were waiting for a part to arrive from California so that it could be repaired.

We spend 9 nights in this wonderfull and huge place. It was our first time renting and we were impressed, we won't go back to hotels. Everything was as described and better. Gloria was great to work with and it all went smothly, no problems at all. It has everything you need in the kitchen and all aroud the place. Verry close to Disney. There's lots of places to eat nearby, a Publix and a Target less than 3 miles away on 192. Beds were so comfortable that we had no problem sleeping. No noisy neighbors, a very peasefull resort close to192 but away from the noise. It was super clean and secure. We are a familly of 5 from Mexico traveling with 2 teenagers and a 5 year old, and there was enough room for all of us. Loved sponge bob's room and the fact that there is a tv in every room, We watched the olimpics in the huge tv (60 inch) in the livingroom and loved waching Mexico win the gold soccer medal:). We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.It met our needs and more.The only thing that i would add to it is a gate for the stairs. if you have small children you would need to bring your own gate which we did.I will definitely be back for another stay.If you plan on going to Disney you cant get much closer to the park then here maybe 15 minute ride.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We would like to take this time to say what a lovely home this was. Gloria, right from the start was a joy to work with. She was very thorough with her emails and messages re: booking and what we needed. The place was immaculate, just the way the pics showed. My boys loved the Spongebob theme room, and so did we, as there was no need to separate them. Everything that we needed for cooking and eating were available. And the outdoor community pool was great....nothing lke swimming in an heated pool....the boys couldn't get enough. My husband was in love with the availability of Netflix along with the pool table. And most important, the drive to Disney, depending on which park, was between 5-20mins. We would highly recommend this condo as a home away from home. Thank you Gloria and your family for allowing us to stay in your home. We will be returning to Florida soon and we will definitely be calling you again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My family and I loved the condo. What a beautiful place to stay. Near to all the shopping and eating also all the Parks for entertainment. The condo is fantastic with enough room for everyone and enough bathrooms as well.The beautifully decorated rooms make it feel very spacious. It was spotless on our arrival. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer and large flat screen tv. It has towels and beach towels by the dozen. We would go back?Recommended for: Families with young children

My family & I had a wonderful time staying in this delightfully spacious town home. This large, comfortable townhouse has everything a family with young children will need. We have twin daughters and they loved & marveled at their very own "Sponge Bob" themed bedroom with bunk beds and TV. I agree with a previous reviewer's comment, "The place was just as nice as the pictures, if not better". The townhouse complex is secure, safe, and quiet. The kids and grandparents had a great time in the large pool. It is extremely close to the area theme parks, as well as convenience stores & restaurants. I'll be recommending this place to all family & friends.Recommended for: Families with young children

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It was very clean and had something for all ages to do inside and out. The owner even called us after we got there to see if everything was alright and if we needed anything. It is close to Disney, but allows you to get back to a quiet place when you are ready. Everything that is advertised about this condo is true and we highly recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This place was PERFECT! We have two boys and they loved having their own rooms, as well as having a Wii and a Pool Table. The place was just as nice as the pictures, if not better. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was very clean. One last thing, The owners were SO nice and VERY easy to work with! Thanks for letting us stay at your new palace! We WILL be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My wife and I and our 2 kids had a great time staying at this condo. Its really a full blown house, larger and more comfortable than the other rentals we have stayed at in Orlando. The kids really enjoyed the Spongebob room, and we found everything we needed for our stay. Really close to the parks ( ask Gloria about her 'super secret' way of getting into the parks ) and the complex itself is really nice with a large pool and a walking trail around the lake.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
