The home is way more than what I expected. The description of the property is good but in person the house is so comfortable and welcoming for all ages. You feel as if you are at home away from home. The owner was very helpful in any questions I had and also available when needed. The view was also wonderful with deer in the back yard. I would recommmend this home to anyone it is an amazing place to stay at.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I must say that this house was a "Home Away from Home". Everything that you needed was right at your finger tips and would highly recommend this house. Description and photos were accurate. Property was very clean and cozy - huge DVD selection with lots of kid-friendly choices. It is also "Children Friendly". My kids and father enjoyed the Ping Pong tables and also enjoyed waking up to the deer in the back yard. The home also provides a Sun Room to where you can sit and relax while enjoying the view.The home was well stocked with everything that you may think of needing. The location is perfect. Grocery store and attractions within a 5-7 mile radius. It was definitely a New Years to remember and already have plans to return later this year.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed this house as a home away from home. Each of our two girls had her own room and there was plenty of place to spread out! We enjoyed the sunroom and the back porch the most. Even though this is not in the mountains, you still get the cool breezes at night and in the mornings. The fenced in (yet open feeling) backyard was great for our four year old to roam freely as we cooked in the kitchen or lounged on the porch. Cards, games, DVD's and cable TV were nice but the ping pong table was a REAL hit! We had so much fun! The neighborhood is quiet yet very convenient to everything without being RIGHT in town. The view going into town of Sierra Blanca is breathtaking. We looked forward to it every day! Cece is great to work with and we will hopefully be back in the future. I have already recommended the cabin to two friends and I recommend it to you as well!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just returned from a week at this wonderful vacation rental. It was a great choice for our family. The home was clean, well-furnished and convenient to town. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and it was nicely decorated. We were there to relax as well as work and the high speed internet connection was strong throughout our stay. It had a nice backyard and deer grazed just feet away every day. The owner of the property was so nice and accommodating. We will definitely choose this home on future trips.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house is truly lovely and charming!! The photos accurately reflect the property. It is very neat and clean. It is beautifully decorated. IT has all the comforts of home. This was a great place to rest and relax. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. My family loved this house and will definately try to rent this house again on our next stay!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Hi, we have enjoyed living and playing in Ruidoso for many years. There is just something magical about Ruidoso and I know you will feel the same. We have a business and home in nearby Las Cruces, NM and find ourselves not being able to use our home as much as we would like. We wanted to share our beautiful home with you so you can enjoy the pleasure of the village of Ruidoso and all the wonderful activities that it has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Ruidoso:
We love the accessibility of this property, even on extreme snow days. There is an abundance of wildlife to be enjoyed in the serenity of the private backyard. There is ample parking and lots of outdoor space to enjoy basking in the sun or hanging out reading a book under the cool shade of the ponderosa pines.
