Our long-time Snowbird renters had to recently cancel due to health reasons. Hoping to be able to fill the vacancy with you!
The Heart of St. Simons Island is "The Village", and we're in the Heart of the Village, yet only a few steps to the ocean.
If you insist on "Ocean Front", there are some across the street from us, and they rent for twice as much. If you don't mind walking 50 yards to the Ocean, or 5 minutes to the Village, then ours is the place for you! Save that extra money...or use it to enhance your vacation.
The Village offers charming shops and restaurants, ranging from fine-dining establishments to casual eateries. Young visitors will especially like Neptune Park for picnics under the massive oaks, swimming pool, miniature golf, a playground, and the Fishing Pier.
Climb to the top of the St. Simons Lighthouse, a working lighthouse built in 1872. Our condo is one-half block from the Village and one-half block to the beach.
New tile floors in living room, dining area and kitchen. Our condo offers a Queen bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a full-size sleeper sofa. TV/VCR/DVD in the living room and both bedrooms.
The dining area seats four at the table and two at the bar. The kitchen is fully equipped. Eat outside on the patio under the oak trees.

St. Simons Island offers family-oriented vacationing at the pace you set for yourself and your family. Local legend says that if you get sand in your shoes, you will return. Our family hopes you share our condo, and we hope you return.

Why the Owner Chose Butler Retreat
The perfect location. We can walk to restaurants, shops, the pier, everything we want to do. We have friends with Ocean Front condos, and they are very nice, but they have to get in the car and drive to go anywhere. We love our small condo, and hope you do too!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
St. Simons Village has had major improvements made in the past two years. Walk to the fishing pier to check out the catch. Sit on oceanfront benches and people watch. Check out Blue Water Grill upstairs for oceanfront dining and viewing, or multiple other restaurants for fantastic food and libations. Enjoy the beach at low-tide, walking or sunbathing.

We are a family of four with two daughters, one still in high school, one at Georgia Southern University. We love St. Simons, and vacation here every Spring Break and some time throughout the year.

As advertised, this is the best location on St. Simons if you want to be near the Village. Parked our car, and didn't leave except to drive to the Winn Dixie. The condo is clean, the price is economical, and the location is superb.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

What a find. A nice, well-kept condo in the best location on the Island if you want to be near the Village (which we did). Walk to the ocean, walk to the pool, walk to the pier, and walk to the great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can reserve again next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.
