  This was the best stay we have ever had at the beach. The condo was exactly as described in the site and the pictures really do not do it justice. We had been looking for a place that was ocean front, and this was just right. Sitting on the balcony, I could enjoy my coffee every morning while staring at the beautiful beach in front of us. The condo was fully equipped and clean when we got there. The building itself had all of the amenities and every day we saw people there caring for it. Also, the location was fantastic. We were about 1 mile from a Publix, a walmart market and a winn-dixie. There were also pharmacies and gas stations in that area as well as some really good restaurants (Zen, is great if you like sushi, and about 7 miles down the road, there is the crab trap, which has fantastic crab and po'boys). My brother came to visit us for a day and is now planning his own vacation in the same property. Lori, the proprietor, was great answering all of our questions and very accommodating when I explained our scheduling issue to her. I have already recommended the place to multiple people, and I am looking forward to our next visit.

  If you are looking for a NO STRESS vacation; then this place is for YOU! We had to make last minute reserrvations and Lori was FABULOUS! She was so eager to help us and so easy to communicate with. The condo was so spacious and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the beach and it was literally 2 minutes from the door to the surf. The complex was very well maintained and the security and housekeeping staff were friendly and eager to meet our every need. The condo is stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is minutes away from groceries, restaurants, and tourist attractions. We are looking forward to another stay later this year! Thanks again Lori!

  We have stayed at many condos in the GS/OBA area, and this is one of our favorites!!! This condo has a great layout, wonderful living space, and a great balcony area with awesome view of the pool and Gulf. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens that I have had the pleasure of using, tons of pans, pots and utensils that you may need to make your stay more than convenient!! Our stay this past spring break was saved by the great indoor (heated) pool and spa, and it was a great FAMILY atmosphere, without being over crowded. This unit at Romar Place is the perfect location for easy access to shops and grocery stores in Orange Beach as well as just a short scenic drive to Gulf Shores as well. We will be back!!!

  Condo was just as it appears in the photos. The location was great, close to restaurants and shopping. The condo was very clean and well stocked with necessities like extra batteries for the remote controls! There was even a drawer of fun toys the kids loved playing with. The weather was cold and rainy while we were there so it was nice to have an indoor, heated pool, hot tub and sauna! The view from the balcony was gorgeous and a welcome site every morning. Lori was wonderful to work with. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Having 2 king size beds was really nice. There were plenty of towels and dishes and utensils, all we had to buy was food. (And laundry detergent had we been there longer) The location of the unit in the facility was convenient too...right off the elevator.

  My family stayed a week in this condo and enjoyed it very much. It was a first time trip to the gulf for my grandchildern and great grandchild. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would recomend it to friends.

  I loved my stay at Romar 403! This was my second time at this complex and it is by far tops in my opinion for best overall amenities. The outside pool is huge and the inside pool is bigger than most other complexes which is a huge plus for busy weekends. I prefer the atmosphere of the smaller complexes like this even though it is an older property it is still modern. It was clean and comfortable, great plush sheets and bed pillows and the kitchen was equipped nicely for cooking. Dealing with this owner was delightful! We loved eating at the Hang Out.... pricey but great food and atmosphere is perfect for the beach scene. Original Oyster House also good and Wintzells (sp?)Oyster Hse just across the street.Oh...and CRICO'S PIZZA! Up in Foley, the place that is the home of THROWED ROLLS for good country cooking. Lot of stuff to do including festivals around the area and one can get involved in lots of volunteer projects around town if you will be there awhile. Went to a few local things at the art center, local parks, putt-putt and even the Am. Legion.for night life. The local people are great! Several grocery stores within a mile or so right on the beach highway and great shopping just up the road 7 miles to Foley or a little farther over in Pensacola. I was there for almost a month and loved watching the daily changing waves, walking the beach and catching an occasional fly-by of the Blue Angels doing practice routines. For rainy days, red box is close and two huge theatres within 10 minutes. Publix has great organic, fresh foods and health food areas! On site security makes regular rounds and are available for anything you need. The exterior grounds/common areas and pools of this property are extremely well kept and it is common to see workers doing their magic to keep it that way. This owner is easy to work with and readily available by phone for any questions. I definitely would go back -- and hope to next year!

  Thank you for allowing me and my family a wonderful stay in your condo at such a short notice. We loved the place and will be back. My parents havent been in a beach for over 30 years and they loved how the condo was right on the beach. Loved the master bedroom. It would be even better if it had a screen door so we cab keep doors open and hear the ocean breeze. But the place was beautiful. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Lori for being so helpful at such a short notice.

  My Family and I enjoyed our stay at Romar Place 403. We did have an issue with the cleaning service because they did not clean the condo or change the bed sheets, but when I notified the owners, they were very quick to get the situation fixed and had someone sent immediately to clean the condo. They have had problems with this cleaning service and have now changed services so hopefully this problem will be fixed. The reason i am telling this in the review is because the Owner was very quick to fix the situation and apologized and even gave us a gift certificate to a restaurant due to this mishap, and in my opinion, what you want out of owner is quick and great service which is exactly what we received. Other than this, we had a fabulous time; my children are 11 months and 3 years old and had a wonderful time at the beach, outdoor and indoor pool. The condo was very accommodating for children and had a DVD player in every room plus toys for the kids to play with. It had a great view and was close to restaurants, shops and grocery stores.I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and i am hoping to stay in this condo next year for our family vacation.
