Hi, Bryan, I want to be sure to let you know how PLEASED we were with the cabin! We said over and over how clean it was and so new inside. The two "masters" were great. We loved this cabin! This was our first experience using VRBO and we were so happy with how things worked out. The cabin was everything it claimed it was. It was beautifully furnished and well equiped with everything we needed including a baby gate for the stairs. It is very secluded with only 1 other cabin close but you couldn't see it from where we were unless you went out to the end of the driveway. We especially loved the deck with the outside stone fireplace, swing and table. Even though we ended up being there during the hottest days on record (101-105) the deck was pleasant and cool most of the day. We cooked almost all our meals on the outside on the gas grill and even used the smoker to smoke the large number of trout my boys caught and did smores in the fireplace one night. The hot tub was also fun. It is on the lower deck and we had brought a small inflatable pool for our 2 toddler grandchildren and they were content to play in that right next to the tub while us "girls" relaxed! The loft has a small game table and my kids loved that. The cabin is only about 5 minutes from the best fishing in the area (Horseshoe bend park in Mckaysville) and 12 minutes from Blue Ridge where we enjoyed the senic railroad and the orchards (need to get the fried pies they were great!). It is also only 30 minutes to the Ocoee for whitewater rafting which was a blast for my family!The renting agent was very helpful. One day the air conditioning had a problem but we didn't realize it until about 9 at night because we thought it was just the unusually hot weather. We called just to report it and he had a repairman out there within an hour! The only issue we had is that the downstairs bed and bath is apparently still in the process of being completed so it needs a couple things to make it more liveable such as a small dresser and a mirror. I am sure that by the time the next people come in it will be complete. I would definitely recommend this place to others. I know my married son is planning on renting this sometime this fall for his family and another couple. We had 7 adults and 2 toddlers and I think we could have slept at least 2 more adults in their comfortably.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
