  Our stay at Hippie Hollow villa was absolutely fantastic. The room was beautiful, crisp, and extremely well taken care of. The owners paid special attention to detail and provided extra amenities including pre-set preferred temperature, coffee and mini fridge, and renter's-choice door code. The care and keeping of the villa was great, and the grounds of the property and the decks were beautiful with absolutely exquisite views. Bob is very kind and welcoming, and it's the perfect hideaway just outside Austin. It was a great break from the chaos of SXSW to come home to each night. I will definitely be staying here again.

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the HH Villa. We spent the evening at the Oasis area. Actually at the wine shop for a couple of hours. This Villa is only about 1 mile to the Oasis and very close to the lake. It is very nice and new. We look forward to staying at this property again. Bob was a very generous host and was available if we needed anything.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Hippie Hollow Villa is a wonderful place to stay when spending time in Austin. The grounds and room are beautiful with great attention to detail. The customer service is unbeatable. We will be staying at Hippie Hollow Villa any time we stay in Austin and would recommend this little slice of paradise to anyone.

  This Villa was everything it was advertised to be. Beautiful room and view, very relaxing to to sit on the porch and chill. Bob was the greatest host ever. Just an all around friendly guy who's only mission it seemed was to make our stay enjoyable. We had full use of the property including the grill and the upstairs deck which provided a breath taking view of the area. Parking right in the driveway by your room and walking distance to the lake. Just a couple of minute drive to the Oasis where we watch the sunset which was absolutely amazing!!! If you are looking for a relaxing time in Austin, you just cant go wrong with this place. This will be our prfered place to stay when hanging out in Austin. Thanks a ton Bob, had a blast!!!!!

  Stayed here for two nights and it was great. This new, super-clean, small upscale room (bedroom/bathroom with mini-fridge and microwave and comfy bedding) with very nice outdoor sitting area is cooled by breezes from Lake Travis. We got up early every morning and watched the birds and sat outside again each evening after dinner. Located in an upscale area in the hills surrounding Lake Travis. Great for a couples get-away, quiet and serene. We walk/jogged to a nearby park each morning. Owners live on-site and are very nice and helpful with area info. Private pilates and yoga sessions are available on-site. We plan to try those next time. Can be a nice, peaceful getaway, nice fitness getaway or both. If you are looking for some place private and quiet - this spot will do it. I don't see it as a place for families with small children. Best suited for couples of any age or empty-nesters.
