We had a lovely time at The Anchorage, warm, cozy, right on the harbor, great for bird and boat watching. Close to town for shopping and visiting. The fireplace and the furnishings, the windows and light make for a perfect place to stay. We will be back I am sure. Adrienne was helpful in making arrangements with us and we highly recommend the Shelter for a dinner out.

My dog and stayed at the Anchorage for a week in early September and just loved it! Was needing a personal retreat and it was such a perfect spot to escape too. In the morning I sat sipping my coffee on the deck and gazed at the beautiful view. Then we'd take off for the day and visit a different beach - our favourites were Florencia Bay and Combers Beach. We also walked the West Coast trail a couple of days in Uclulet. The highlight of my trip was a float plane ride with Atleo Air. Amazing!! I would highly recommend this property because it is clean, well decorated, has a great gas fireplace and a window seat to gaze at the water. I cooked a lot of meals in the condo and was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. Thanks to Judi and Adrienne for a truly wonderful experience.

I was looking for a personal retreat from a stressful job for a few days. The Anchorage was absolutely perfect. I spent much of my time sitting in the window seat enjoying the ever-changing views over the harbour. The apartment is well equipped and the decor tasteful. I was lucky with the weather - some calm sunny days and then some splendid storms which justified staying in and enjoying the cosy apartment. I am looking forward to my next visit.

The Anchorage was the perfect location for our family's stay in Tofino. The property is spacious, immaculately clean, well laid out and the panoramic view is a spectacular bonus! It's a short walk to the centre of Tofino with lots of good restaurants right on the door step. The property manager was super attentive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be recommending to others and hoping to return soon.

We loved it! What an fantastic spot, the view was superb from the balcony and the Bald Eagles were well photographed. The flat was great, modern and well equipped, it provided everything we needed and more. Tofino is a great place to stay, it offers the laid back lifestyle we love about Cornwall in England and also has loads to do. We Bear watched with Brownings Passage and Whale watched with The Whale Centre, both were excellent, we saw so much wildlife. Thank you so much we wish we could've stayed longer, it was our favourite stop on a tour of BC and The Rockies.

What a wonderful spot. The condo feels private and luxurious. The view out of the windows, from the windowseat, and from the balcony is non-stop nature, always changing. We walked into town for morning coffee(10 minute round trip), for meals, and for exercise. Tofino and the Anchorage were great for relaxation. Friendly people. We were sad to leave and hope to return. We highly recommend this condo.

We absolutely loved this apartment. We rent apartments and houses frequently in North America and Europe and this was one of the most comfortable and best located apartments in our experience. Also there is plenty of information available in the apartment for things to do. It is an easy walk into town for everything and the kayaking departure point is virtually next door. We would definitely stay again and we will recommend this property to anybody going to Tofino.

We walked through the door and just said 'Wow'. It was better than the photos. We stayed here for just over a week but it was so relaxing, it felt longer. We were very reluctant to leave. The apartment is well appointed and immaculate (we love cooking and appreciated the good quality knives and cookware), the extraordinary view of mountains, islands and harbour, is infinitely interesting and our owner even phoned to tell us whales were passing in front of our deck. Incredible service! Our two teenage girls were mesmerized and spent hours sitting at the window seat with binoculars. It's so unusual to be able to walk to town, and Tofino is such a great place. There's so much to do, in and around: we body boarded, hiked the Pacific Rim Trails, visited the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, went whale and sea otter watching, and sea kayaking. We took a trip to Meares Island with Tofino Sea Kayaking and were totally inspired by our guide, Andy. But you know, simple things like 'Eddie' the Bald Eagle and the kingfishers and sandpipers we saw every day from the sunny deck, also helped to make this family holiday one of the best we've ever had. Thank you!

We just returned from our first trip to Tofino and it was incredible. Tofino is a beautiful village where you can be as busy as you wish - hiking, fishing, kayaking, surfing, going to the hot springs - or just relax and appreciate the scenery. I'm so glad we chose this condo since it was not only beautifully appointed, but a perfect location to get around. We were a 5-minute walk to downtown and right off the Pacific Rim Hwy to get around for hiking the numerous trails. I've stayed at several VRBO rental units and this is definitely one of the best. It's so nicely furnished, clean and spacious for a 1 BR. This unit is on the top (3rd) floor & overlooks the harbour; just lovely to sit on the deck with a coffee in the morning. The resident bald eagles who appear to have occupied the tree next door are an added bonus as they fly back and forth in front of the condo. Don't miss the hot springs & hike through the rain forest to get there; kayaking was wonderful (we went with Jamie's Whaling Station - guide was "Josh" who knew everything about the area; ask for him if you can) ..... and if you're looking for some deep sea fishing, try WardoWest - a relatively new outfit who were outstanding and so was the catch (lots of salmon & halibut)! We certainly hope to get back there again next year! Thanks so much Adrienne!

I stayed here with my family in December of 2011. The view of Clayoquot Sound is breathtaking. I could have sat in the cozy day bed in the bay window for hours, warm and dry beside the fire. The clouds and water were constantly changing, opening into a HUGE vista of distant snow covered mountains. The beauty of this property is that you can watch eagles and nature out your window one moment, then stroll out your door and walk into town in about five minutes the next. It really is the best of both worlds: pristine nature, smack dab in the middle of the cute little shops and restaurants of Tofino. I can't say enough about the service and the beautiful setting of this place.

              Why the Owner Chose Tofino:
We've loved this property since first moving to Tofino. When an opportunity became available to purchase a place on this scenic bay, we took it and feel lucky to be able to share it with others.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The Anchorage is the top corner suite at Eik Landing. There is no suite above you, which ensures optimum privacy. The views of the harbour are always interesting and there is always wildlife to watch. Whether it be the family of otters fishing out front or the Eagles that perch in the surrounding trees.
