  We stayed 6 weeks at this lovely apartment and we appreciated every moment of it. This was our fifth time in Barbados but first time at Vuemont and we had a marvelous stay. This fantastic location is the best kept secret in Barbados. This small complex is quiet and secluded and very relaxing with in bonus a nice breeze all day long. All the rooms were beautifully appointed and spotless clean, the living area was very comfortable and elegant and it had a very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. The added extras of books, internet, Wi-Fi, cable and flat screen TV, DVD and selection of DVD’s, made it a real home from home. We absolutely loved the huge elevated veranda overlooking the beautiful tropical garden and with a stunning panoramic view of Caribbean Sea. We spent untold hours just chilling out there. Even in the evening no mosquitoes, no sand fly just a chilling breeze. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner who quickly respond to our demand and ensured our holiday was perfect.   my 20th year coming to barbados-apartment and resort were just awesome-beautiful sea views-gym-pool-tennis courts-all very well maintained-close to beaches-restaurants and shopping but removed enough to be very quiet and private-perfect i would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience the charm and beauty of barbados and it's people and added bonus-the owners are very diligent in their efforts to make sure guests are treated as guests-i will be back!

  We've had one of the most relaxing holidays we can remember! The apartment did not disappoint at all - it is beautifully kept and equipped with all you need to make your stay enjoyable. The facilites are tremendous and the staff working throughout the complex are friendly and helpful. We felt very secure, relaxed and happy throughout our stay.   We recently spent 11 nights at Vuemont. The apartment was lovely - spacious and well furnished with excellent facilities. Exactly as advertised. We found Barbados itself very friendly with a surprising amount to see and do for such a small island. This was our first family holiday together for a six years and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. (ages ranging from 18-58). Highly recommended.

(Cary, North Carolina USA) Date of Stay: 03/29/12 Review Submitted: 04/10/12 Our family stayed here for a week during our first vacation to Barbados with our 12 and 15 year old daughters. It is a beautiful and extremely well maintained property and we found the apartment staff (security staff and housekeeping) to be very friendly and helpful too. The kitchen is well equipped and even had a cooler to take to the beach which was very handy. We loved that they provided the beach towels and plenty of linens. At first we were concerned that we didn't chose to stay closer to the Holetown and Bridgetown area, but it is very quick to get around the island by car and we ended up being very happy to be away from the busy tourist areas. The pool area is gorgeous and the view from this apartment is great. We would highly recommend this to a friend and can't wait to visit Barbados again! There is a great variety of things to do on this island and our top picks were scuba diving through Phil at Wreckers and Reefers in Speightstown, Harrison's Cave and surfing with Brian Talma at DeAction Beach. All super people!! The Tides restaurant was our top pick for a really nice beachside meal out, but for something quick and cheap we loved the chicken/potato roti at Chefette!   This was our first time to Barbados and it will not be the last. Our apartment was perfectly situated in an elevated position only 5 minutes from the coast but still with a sea view. Everything was provided in the apartment which was extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. We had access to the pools, gym, tennis courts and club house and also the grounds are beautifully maintained. Super location for exploring the island but also for spending lazy days by the beauitful west coast beaches. Our thanks to the owner for making this a truely memorable holiday and one we will never forget. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back.

I have just returned from 3 weeks stay at this apartment and my overall experience was excellent! The description of the accommodation on the internet is exactly as it appears and the photos accurately reflect the appearance and amenities. The apartment is well located for privacy, peacefulness and quiet but within easy access of most beaches and other areas - Approximately 5 minutes from Speightstown, 15 minutes from Holetown St James and 30 minutes of Bridgetown by car. Buses are also frequent to many areas. The view across St. Lucy and out into the sea is magnificent! Very relaxing and peaceful! The apartment is very well maintained, clean and tidy and has all the facilities and amenities you would want in a "home-from-home" and more. The staff are all extremely helpful and kind, including cleaners and security staff. There is a gym and tennis court. I found the owner to be extremely helpful and kind and I received prompt responses to my e-mail queries. I would definitely recommend this property to family, friends and anyone else looking for self-catering accommodation in Barbados. I would definitely use this accommodation again. Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

  5/5.Beautiful Barbados Guest: Nat (Truro) Date of Stay: 14/05/11 Review Submitted: 24/07/11 Fantastic holiday! We cannot recommend this apartment enough. Staying at Mount Brevitor allowed us to enjoy the island to it's full potential as it’s location allowed us to have days out at the stunning calm waters of Mullins on the West coast, and also 'Soup bowls' (known for it's classic surf) on the East coast, all within a fifteen-minute drive of where we were staying. The complex also offers a fully equipped gym and two excellent tennis courts for active people, and the infinity pool/clubhouse is perfect for relaxing in the sun for lazy days. The apartment itself was clean and spacious with spectacular views of the coast. From snorkeling in the crystal blue waters and relaxing on the beach, to the vibrant nightlife of the Oisten festival- Barbados has something for everyone. We can't wait to go back.   We (three ladies) had a great time in an excellent apartment with stunnig views over the very friendly island. The accommodation was superb, every mod. con. including washer/dryer.(saves on luggage) We were there at a quiet time so the swimming pool at the Club House was ours most of the time. For a real feel of the island, take a trip on a Yellow bus all fares $2. Thanks Jacky

  My wife children and I had been looking forward to this holiday for well over a year and we were not disappointed in any way. With the help and advice of Jackie the owner, a fantastic apartment and location this had to be our favourite holiday so far. We had a fun packed yet relaxing 2 weeks where we visited numerous fantastic beaches (favourite Port St Charles under the bridge) many eateries of varying ranges of cost (favourite: Mullins bar and Fishermans pub) and many attractions across the island of which a day out on the Tiami catamaran with all your needs catered for is a must, it was great fun for all the family. The villa and complex is everything you would want, Spacious and well planned catering for all your needs in a safe environment, 5 star in our opinion. The views from the apartment and around the complex are wonderful with the elevated position you have unrestricted views out to sea “great sitting on the large balcony with a rum punch or two”. Barbados is a great place to visit and when we get the chance we would love to go back, we would definitely use this apartment again if it was available. Many thanks Jackie for your efforts in helping us make a truly memorable holiday.
