Come enjoy our beautiful 3200 square-foot home in Pine Mountain Lake. The house is located on a private street with lots of trees, sitting on the 12th fairway of the golf course, and less than .5 miles from the Country Club and 50 yards from the lake. Our gourmet kitchen is completely stock with all amenities and opens into the great room and the covered patio equipped with ceiling fans. The master suite is on the first level and has a walk in closet and large master bath & shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with a second large full bath with shower and tub.
Within the gates of Pine Mountain Lake you can golf, horse back ride, swim, boat or fish. The main marina has a very large sandy beach with volleyball, boating and a snack shack.
The town of Groveland provides all the necessary amenities - grocery store and restaurants, video rental and pharmacy. This house is a great base for many day trips such as: Yosemite, Hetch Hetchy, Lake Don Pedro, Columbia State Park, Tuolumne Meadows and Gold Country mining towns such as Jamestown and Sonora, where there are lots of antique stores. Yosemite and Hetch Hetchy have many hiking and biking trails.
In the winter skiing is available at either Dodge Ridge (about 1 hour), Bear Valley (around 2 hours), or Badger Pass ski located in Yosemite (2 hours). The outdoor ice skating rink in Yosemite is great fun.
When you walk into our home you will feel relaxed as if you were walking into your own home, sit back, relax and enjoy all the amenities this home and area provides.

I rented this cabin in the woods to get away from the busy San Francisco Bay Area, and it was everything I was hoping it would be. Pine Mountain Lake is a beautiful location, the locals are friendly, and the quality of the rental is first-class. The cabin was easy to find. Just a short run off of Hwy 120 past Groveland. After arrival, I headed back to town and found that getting to the store to pick up some groceries was not difficult at all. The local shop is nice, well-stocked, and close, and the people are very polite. The cabin was very clean, in goor order, well stocked (cleaning supplies, cooking items, etc...), and well-maintained. There's a great little wood stove in the corner that kept me warm one night while I listened to my iPod & speakers and read some Stephen Hawking. The next morning, I walked down to the lake. It's a quiet 10 minute stroll. There's a small beach and playground with a parking lot. The lake is a great place for kids. After lunch, several water-skiing families took to the lake and looked like they were having a fantastic time. A few of them were very talented skiers, fun to watch! I would definitely rent from this owner again. I enjoyed my weekend tremendously. Check it out if you're interested. You will nto regret it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
