A beautiful Lakefront house on Cobbossee lake just 1 hour north of Portland only 1 hour to multiple coastal locations 30 minutes from the popular LL.Bean. This eleven mile long lake is clean and fresh with great fishing and all lake activities. This home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 queen size beds and 2 single beds. 1 full bathroom, a beautiful kitchen/dining/living room. Large deck for enjoying the sun or eating dinner outside. sprawling back yard for yard games or sitting and enjoying nature. Enjoy a hammock in the shade looking down the lake on the waters edge, or sit on the docks while the kids swim or float on a tube and enjoy the tranquility of the quiet cove. A fire pit with fire wood is a big hit during the spring/summer months for enjoying star gazing. the docks accommodate a 24 ft boat, a kayak or canoe is available. 3 golf courses within a 10 minute drive 1 just a 1/2 mile away.
The kitchen is fully stocked, dishwasher and most things needed for daily use. Bed sheets and towels for 6 people.. ceiling fans and floor fans provided. Washer and dryer. TV/DVD/ Cable, playing cards, local magazines. cleaning supplies provided for house cleaning only.
No guests!!! Sleeps 6 can make exception for a 7th. The guest policy will be checked and will result in immediate expulsion with no refunds.
Basement is OCCASIONALLY used Saturday/Sunday by house cleaners. Completely separate entrance, not accessible by renters.

Our first impression when rolling in to this location... "man, this is secluded!" When we walked in to the house, we knew we were in for a really great week. When we walked down to the lakefront, I could barely keep the kids from jumping in!! That pretty much sums up the experience we had from start to finish in this wonderful lake house. It was just modern enough (wi-fi, cable, all the things to make you feel comfortable), yet still rustic to always make you feel on vacation on a lake. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable! The owner was extremely accommodating and made every effort to have everything we needed for a great week. Thanks J! :) The Lake: This was one of the best lakes I've ever spent time on. There is something for everyone in the family. Great fishing, the kids went tubing every day, there were small islands that we explored, the water was WARM for swimming, very little traffic or activity. We rented a boat for the week and it was well worth it!! The house is located on the southern end of the lake and is REAL private and quiet.. a HUGE plus!! Although the lake was enough to keep us busy, we took a day trip to Camden on the shore. A really great town to take the family. At night, we lit the fire pit, made smores, the adults enjoyed beverages dockside.. and listened to the loons while trying to count the hundreds of stars!! Seriously, it was completely peaceful. We will be returning again!! P.S. Make sure you check out Fast Eddie's Drive In and DEW Animal Kingdom!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I have had the opportunity to own this home for almost 8 years..I love it dearly. My new wife and I are hoping this will be our 401K in a time when investments are not easy to find. We take pride in this house and love every moment we get to spend in it. We live just 2 hours away in MA and try and get up when we can, but we want to be smart and offer the use of this house to those who want a beuatiful get away on a lake that isnt a 'camp'... We love it and believe you will too.. we occasionally stay in the basement on a Friday/Saturday night if we need to do something up at the house. we have our own entrance and in no way interact with rentors.. we are simply there to maintain the home.

It is a beautiful and serene location, lots of peace and quiet. Its a beautiful home and made classy and comfortable, entire inside of home has been freshly painted Feb 2013.

Its a quiet place and it is hard to beat sitting down on the dock any time of the day. Its nestled in a quiet cove that gets very little action except by the occasional fishing boat... loons galore...privacy and relaxation are what you will find in abundance.
