The place was fantastic. The owners thougth of eveything. The kitchen was fully equipped with upgraded appliance, tons of cooking tools. A very clean place. The grounds were nice and close walk to the lake. The only negative was the fireplace would not turn on, was not a big deal as it was warm weather. I would definately stay there again.

Owner response: I am glad to hear you had a good stay. I am Sorry to hear the fire place would not turn on for you. It turns out the pilot went out (this seems to happen a couple times a year). If you decide to stay again in the future you may call me with the contact information provided for help resolving this. I will also leave instructions for how to re-light and I have asked the person handling rental turnover to check this between rentals so it can be relight if needed. I hope you will decide to stay again in the future. If you do please mention you are a repeat guest!
The amenities were nice. The condo was spacious and furnishings were in good condition. The kitchen was very nicely equipped which was great! Owner allowed us an early check-in too. My only negative was that there was not any air conditioning. Normally this isn't a problem in Tahoe, but the weekend we stayed the average daily temperature was in the mid-90's so air conditioning would have been really nice.

Owner response: Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear how hot it was during your stay. Virtually all private rentals in Tahoe do not have Air Conditioning - it is very rare in Tahoe as typically temperatures are not that hot and it cools off a lot at night. We are getting some new fans for the rooms which will hopefully help keep comfortable in future heat waves by moving the air and helping the cooler air get inside in the evenings. I am glad you were happy with the rest of your stay and hope you will consider staying with us again.

We had 9 people staying at this property and there was plenty of room for us all. It was in a great location, close to town, the lake and river rafting. The unit was clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Owner response: We are glad you had a great stay and welcome you back in the future. Be sure to say you are a repeat guest when booking in the future!
My Family had a lovely time in this wonderful residence and we love Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed early morning walks to the beach at the end of the block that led us along the lake throught a park to Dollar Point. The beach has picnick tables and grill with plenty of shaded area to sit. What was especially nice were the two pools one for family with children and an adult pool with a hot tub, just a short walk from the residence. The kitchen was enjoyable to cook in with all the top of the line appliances and equiptment you need to make wonderful meals. I love to cook but unfortunately we were only home one night to enjoy the outside grill and an excellant fresh from the market grilled peaches and several speciality vegetable salads and home made salsa's. I especially appreciated sitting on the outside deck enjoying the evening without bugs or those pesky mosquitoes. Days were hot and evenings cool, my type of weather. I would recommend this propery and were are looking forward to planning a return trip.

About the owner: We grew up spending our summers on lakes (in Michigan and New Jersey) and wanted to have that same experience for our future family here in California. Currently residents in Marin County after having formally lived in San Francisco, we wanted to have our lake experience here and Lake Tahoe was a natural fit as we have enjoyed in in summers and winters for years since we each moved to California.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe City:
It was important for use to have a place on a lake as we both spent our summers with lake living growing up, and we love Tahoe for Skiing in the winter and all the great outdoor activities in the summer. We wanted to be in North Lake Tahoe as we both loved Tahoe City and all the North shore has to offer. We wanted to be close to Tahoe City (within biking distance) and near both the Lake and bike path. We found this great unit in Lake Forest Glen and not only was it close to Tahoe City and the lake, but this unit was near the back Bristlecone st exit making it easy to hop on a bike to the bike path or walk to the lake at Lake Forest Beach or the great hidden gem of Skylandia Park. We also loved the great remodel and mountain cabin theme inside and the south facing deck with plenty of sun all day long! We love staying here and we hope you will too!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
The south facing deck gets lots of sun all day and is a great place to enjoy morning coffee. Inside the pine trim and log furniture give it a truly Tahoe feeling! Gas fireplace makes livingroom warm and inviting.
