  We booked this place at the last minute and were really pleased and thankful for how nice and helpful and responsive the owners were. But, once we got there, we were even more pleased with how amazing the cabin was. Clean, cozy, comfortable, new and fully-stocked (they thought of everything, made life so much easier)... it was basically the perfect place to stay for me, my husband, our 20 month old, and my brother. Great to be close to the lake, we took a pontoon out on the lake and just walked to the marina from the cabin. And of course did a lot of cuddling on the couch in front of the fire watching movies. Will definitely go back very soon.

  We enjoyed 5 nights at this lovely Big Bear home. It truly is a lovely house with all the amenities of home – fully stocked kitchen, flat screen TVs in the bedrooms and living room, an assortment of kid’s movies and books. We could not have asked for more. The hosts were extremely helpful with check-in and payment. Additionally, in the middle of our stay, we decided to stay a few more nights and this was as simple as a text message to owners. This was our first visit to the local ski resorts and the house is perfectly situated within 5-10 minute drive to the resorts, but still in a quiet location right across from the lake. With lots of new snow on the ground, the owners also had the road plowed before our arrival so that we had absolutely no difficulty getting into the property. We will definitely return to this vacation house our next visit to Bear Valley.

  Thank you Laura! Here is my review … We stayed 2 nights for a ski week-end with my 3 boys. From the booking to the check-out, everything was perfect and very well organized, very professional. The cabin was extremely clean, very well equipped and decorated. We found there anything we needed and much more (plenty of DVD, toys, music, old disc player, sleds...). The kids loved the cabin. The bedrooms were like a 4 stars hotel decorated with taste and great king size beds. Kitchen and bathrooms looked newly remodeled. Located along the lake, it's beautiful and only 10 minutes from snow summit slopes! We've been skiing all day and enjoyed the warmness of the cabin after ski. We also had a lot of fun doing alpine slide and tubes snow park 5 minutes away from the cabin! For my next WE in Big Bear, I won't spend 2 hours in VRBO. This place is just the perfect place. Thank you!

  We had such a great time. The location was near everything. The owner recommended the perfect place for sledding and the kids had such an amazing time. The cabin was super clean and decorated gorgeously. I would recommend in a heartbeat. I have already been telling family and friends about the amazing vacation we had and how much we enjoyed the cabin. We would love to rent it next winter as well as this summer. The owner was so helpful and made the experience such a breeze. The owner had some great touches that made it extra special! I can appreciate the time that was spent in making sure that the little things were even taken care of such as kid’s plates, lotion in every room, kid’s games, movies Crockpot and so many kitchen items. THANK YOU for such a great vacation!!!

  We are so excited to have found this place!! The house is beautiful, clean, cozy and in a wonderful location. The owner was extremely nice and helpful with even recommending a great sledding area close to the house that the kids loved. The house fit my family of four (kids age 4 and 2) and my sister's family of four (kids age 3 and 2) and even had kids movies and books in the house. The kids enjoyed just going down the steps and having their own little area to play in the snow. The house had all the amenities that are needed (kitchen supplies, linens, towels, etc) which is nice when you have a lot to pack with little kids. This was our family's first trip to Big Bear and we are counting down the days till we can go and stay again!

  Loved this cozy cabin. Slightly tight for 8 but definitely cozy and had all the comforts of home incl kid friendly activities and amenities. Laura was very responsive and very helpful when wifi went down an helped us fix the issue promptly. This cabin has all the kitchen essentials even well stocked pantry and supplies. We all had fun and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Laura!

  Me and a group of my friends were so fortunate to visit this beautiful cabin this past winter. It was all we thought it would be and more. The house itself was absolutely awesome. Very clean and well-maintained. The property was right next to lake yet very close to the slopes so it seems to be a good location no matter when you visit. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to have an enjoyable stay in Big Bear. The owners were super helpful and nice. It was an amazing stress free getaway that we all needed and it definitely did the trick. I made memories here I will never forget and I cant wait to go back!

  Two families--4 adults and kids--came up for MLK holiday to enjoy some snow and sledding. Kanodia Lakeview is ALL what you're looking for! The cabin is meticulously clean, well organized, and it has all the amenities you need, especially when you have small children! The cabin offers a fully remodel kitchen with ALL the amenities and spice rack; w/d; towels, first aid kits; hair dryer; lotions; shampoo; iphone/ipod docks; great collection of records and record player; comfortable couches and even an extra aerobed for extra guests! It was sooooo comfortable and relaxing, my kids are excited for another trip to Big Bear! We especially appreciated the location of the cabin, too--right off the lake, 10 minutes (lots of traffic due to MLK weekend) from town, and 5 mins from Alpine Slopes where families can sled ALL day! Kids had a wonderful time at some nearby hills sledding, but especially enjoyed the time at the cabin where in the back yard offered ample space to play and have fun with the snow! The little touches especially made MY trip comfortable, such as the washer/dryer, boot tray, phone charging docks, cable tv, children's book collection and reading table for the kids! We TRULY enjoyed staying at Kanodia Lakeview! We've been to many not-so nice, in fact, down-right nasty places in Big Bear, so staying at Kanodia Lakeview was a dream!!!! Kudos to the owner, Laura, for doing such a wonderful job remodeling and decorating the cabin! She was incredibly nice and courteous! Thank you, Laura!

  We stayed at Kanodia Lakeview for a short getaway over the holiday break. Our first impression is the place is just immaculate, every inch is so clean, and the place has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The location is fantastic as well and Laura (the owner) is extremely responsive. This is also a wonderful choice for families with young childdren, the home features a vast array of games and books and even a childrens table. We will certainly not hesitate to return to this home for a littel rest and relaxation in the mountatins.

  We had a great family get-a-way ski weekend to Big Bear at this cabin. Super clean and beautifully decorated! It was a pleasure being inside the cabin while our kids played in the snow. Close to dining, skiing, and stores, we can't wait to come back. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!
