We stayed in this home/cabin recently very spontaneously for a quick Seattle Weekend Get Away. Everything was great, especially the view. House was VERY clean and beds Very Comfortable. Home definitely had everything we needed ~ except a blender. Would have been nice to have had that .... All n all, a great visit and would definitely re visit if ever able to.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Very nice place to stay at, and the pictures and descriptions just dont do this place justice! Very relaxing place to be at, with big windows to see the river running. Great to grab that cup of coffee and just sit and watch that. Nice sized kitchen to do the cooking, very comfortable beds and sofas. I didn't want to leave! I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great place to stay!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stopped at the Seattle Zoo and headed over after. The home was perfect for us and our four children ages 4-18. Very affordable! It was big enough that we didn't feel like we were tripping over eachother, but small enough that the kids couldn't hide out and were forced into "family time". I brought along an electric roaster for our turkey and was able to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. There were cranes flying in each day, finches all over the porch and even 3 blue jays visited one mornng. The fish ladder is nearby and a beautiful area. On our way home, we stopped in Monroe at the Reptile Man's Serpentarium. He's like a celebrity to our kids since they have seen him at their schools and local libraries.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This was the perfect get away that we needed while dealing with a stressful move. It's a clean, welcoming cabin in a beautiful location with the river just outside the back door and yet close enough to town to be convenient. We especially loved the chairs in front of the windows that gave us a view of the river and the perfect reading spot. The kids enjoyed the loft and spent nights watching movies in "their" space. Every detail has been thought of which makes it extra relaxing. We'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The cabin was everything, and then some, that the owner claimed! The view of the river is spectacular from the living room, kitchen and upstairs TV room. Unfortunately when we were there it rained a bit so we didn't sit out on the huge deck...but it would be a great place to relax at the wooden picnic table with a good book and listen to the river bubbling along. The place was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen is all brand new and very clean; as are the bathrooms. Every morning we would curl up in the big red chairs looking out through the floor to ceiling windows and watch the river -- what a way to start the day! We saw numerous people floating down the river on rafts, intertubes or in canoes -- so if you are adventerous the river might be calling your name for a fun way to spend the day. Personally we just relaxed the entire time. So the cabin is suitable for either a family seeking adventure or for the couple seeking a romantic getaway. The owner has thought of everything you might need -- I will definitely be staying there again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I have had so much fun this year fixing up this cabin and making a pleasant retreat for people! I hope you come and spend a couple days taking in all that Granite Falls and 'Little Lodge' have to offer! You will never forget it!
Why the Owner Chose Granite Falls:
Granite Falls is 30 minutes from the big city and yet a world away! One stop light to the gateway to year round enjoyment! I knew when I saw this cabin that it was the perfect cabin, on the perfect spot above the river, in the perfect town!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
I have two cabins in Granite Falls and I love them both as I am sure you will!...The most obvious reason is when you look out the kitchen window, the river is rushing right past! It looks and sounds beautiful. The cabin is remodeled and has all the features I want in terms of conveniences, but the setting along the river brings you a feel of peace and quiet away from the busy world.
