The Cottage is a modern, custom-built guest house featuring all new appliances, furniture and decor. Tastefully decorated, the 700 square foot house includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, gas log heater, vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans, cable TV with DVD/VCR, and a large tiled full bathroom. The patio offers a sunny (or shady with umbrella) spot to gather for drinks or dinner. Wood burning chiminea, gas grill, large fenced yard and front yard landscaping add the the outdoor amenities of The Cottage.
The large bedroom offers a queen bed and there is a comfortable sofabed in the living room. The front porch offers views of the mountains and a nicely landscaped fenced yard. This is an immaculate cottage with beautiful architectural details.
The Cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Salida, within easy walking or riding distance of historic downtown with its fine restaurants, bars, galleries, shops, and the Arkansas River. One cruiser bike is provided. It is easy to find - six blocks from Highway 50. Hot Springs, fishing, rafting, skiing, biking, etc. are right at your door.
All vacation homes in the Pinon collection are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided as well as paper products, trash bags and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.
Three night minimum is preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval with a $45 cleaning fee. Two night stays will not be scheduled over two weeks in advance during High Season and Holidays. Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays.
Extended stay rates are available subject to owner use and availability. Please read rental policies (tab at bottom of page). The $19 booking fee is not charged if the short-stay charge of $45 is applied.
Payment by check, Visa or Master Card may be accepted with a 2.9% fee. Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy A reservation may be cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in but may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee. Sorry, no refunds will be given for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to check-in unless the unit can be re-rented for the same dates, or, in some cases at manager's discretion, you move your reservation to another date.

The Cottage could not be more well equipped. All you need is here, and indefinite supplies of each. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

We were very comfortable here and had everything we needed. The Cottage is well equipped and nicely appointed. Proximity to downtown is also a plus. It was nice to be able to walk there. We hope to visit again.

We love the Cottage! Our beloved pets enjoyed it with us! The fall colors were beautiful and then...snowfall on the mountains! Beautiful! Perfect meeting place for our family. We love Salida and hope to come back soon.

We visited for the weedend to attend a wedding. We enjoyed biking, the hot springs, downtown Salida and the wedding of course. Your vacation getaway is wonderful! Thank you so much for allowing us to bring our dogs!

We came down to Salida for a few days over the Holidays. Monarch Mountain had good snow and no lift lines the day after Christmas! Awesome! The Cottage is nice; good location, well stocked, great big yard for the dogs.

A beautiful weekend with clear skies and mild temperatures. We adore this cottage, what a great place for a honeymoon weekend!! Great powder at monarch; loved Laughing Ladies and Twisted Cork; amazing pizza delivered from Moonlight! What an amazing little mountain town, we can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed the weekend at The Cottage. It was the perfect size for our little family. While my husband spent the day fishing, my baby and I walked downtown. It was nice to walk back to a nice home to play and relax while we waited for him. Salida was a nice place to visit, relax and enjoy the fall weather.

Great cottage! Exactly what we wanted for this trip. Well stocked, you seemed to have thought of everything. Like that is very clean and clutter free. We really enjoyed staying here.
