The apartment was as advertised, well equipped with great air conditioning and is well situated for restaurants, coffee shops and the local attractions. The views from the balcony are stunning. The staff at the apartment were extremely helpful and took care of all our questions and requests. The driver Tropical Sun Villas organised to drive us from our hotel at the airport to the apartment was charming and talked us through all the key tourist points along the way. It gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery. We also had him drive us back to the airport. We would or course recommend visiting the Manual Antonio National Park but also the Villa Vanilla Tour which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The walk to the beach took us longer than we anticipated and is all downhill so would recommend good walking shoes as the terrain can be a little uneven. We used the local bus to both get home from the beach and to visit Quepos which we found easy to do and reliable. We had a great time and would recommend both the apartment and Costa Rica to others.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

And a fantastic week in Manuel Antonio! Absolutely love it here can't wait to return. I actually hated to leave this wonderful view each day but Manuel Antonio has so much to offer and we had to try a little bit of everything. Many thanks to the staff for some wonderful suggestions and all their help. We will be counting the days until we can return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a great place! We spent 6 wonderful nights here enjoying the spectacular view of the Pacific Oceans. Lots of activities nearby as well as several fine restaurants, cafes, and even a grocery within easy walking distance. Accomodations were spotlessly clean and comfortable. On-site management staff are very friendly and helpful in recommending local tours and arranging guides. We definitely plan to return! Karl and HeideDid you find this review helpful? We stayed at Pacifico for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfecto!! The staff was very helpful from recommendations of restaurants to scheduling canopy tour, ect... With it being "off-season" we were treated like royalty! The condo was absolutely gorgeous and we felt quite comfortable there! I was so not ready to leave!! Our 1st time to CR and it was above & beyond what we had expected!!! I believe Manual Antonio was the best decision we made when we were planning our honeymoon! It is of marvel wonder that everyone should experience & we will definitely make our way back there in the near future!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I am from Costa Rica and I consider Manuel Antonio at the Central Pacific region the best beach complex in the country. The incredible mixture of wild nature, pristine sand and excellent amenities are hardly beaten anywhere else in Costa Rica. The Manuel Antonio National Park is without a doubt one of the best tropical hidden treasures, and the area has been developing extraordinarily well through the years: good infrastructure, excellent food & entertainment and the closeness to other wonderful places such as Dominical & Uvita makes it unique and special. This rental property is perfect, to say the least. The view from the balcony is worth a million dollars and actually, is so incredible, that you really have to make an effort to leave the balcony to visit the park and the beaches. But the sunsets are what will steal your heart and soul. The unit is very comfortable with two ample bedrooms: a master suite and a well appointed guest bedroom. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped to prepare Cordon-Blue meals, if you so desire. The social area is very relaxing and the architectural finishes and detailing are impecable. I have stayed at almost all of the good hotels in Manuel Antonio. Most of them are nice but the big problem is that they all are outrageously expensive and the service in most of them is not of what you would expect for the price you are paying. Which is why I also consider this property is also a bargain. The staff at Pacifico Colonial is extremely friendly and polite. There is 24 hour security and you can leave the unit knowing that everything will be fine when you get back, which is something hard to say on other properties that are not secured or watched around the clock. Finally, location could not be better. Public transportation to and from the beach stops at the front of the building, good restaurants are close by and there is even a well stocked supermarket two minutes walk away.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+.

This was an excellent place to stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the accomodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, and centrally located. The view was amazing. We traveled with two young children and my parents and the layout fit our needs perfectly. There was enough space to have your own independence while still being together. And watching birds and monkeys every morning while eating breakfast on the veranda was fantastic. It is within walking distance to a grocery store that stocks many American brands. It is also a short drive to the beach. I've stayed at other houses/apartments and none have been so well stocked with incidentals/kitchen items as this was. The condos on the 2nd floor were at the treetops - perfect for bird, monkey and iguana watching!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I am sitting in the kitchen of this condo, we leave tomorrow. The place was great, sunsets perfect--magnificent view of the ocean. The service by the condo company was excellent and the daily maid service was wonderful. , The internet excellent. Consierge team was very helpful. You can put your rental car in the garage and you get a remote opener. The bus stops outside the front door, good grocery store only a block away. Used the pool to cool off. Manuel Antonio was very relaxing and walking around Quepos was fun. Hate to go home. Thanks.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+.

Our stay at the condo in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica is something that my wife and I will always remember. The country, the people, the animals, the beaches, the food, were all truly amazing and unforgettable. The condo itself is a jewel immersed in the mountain side just above the rainforest overlooking the vast blue pacific ocean. Words cannot explain the beauty that it beholds. The views are spectacular! There are so many details that went into the planning of this condo, it really is "a home away from home". The craftsmanship and decor of the condo is simply stunning. A couple of the amenities of the condo that stand out from the rest is the Concierge service and the Wi-Fi. To sum it up, if you can't find out about something, someone will for you. Thanks to Trini! Other than that, Pura Vida!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: A guy who has a passion for travel and exploring what this planet has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Manuel Antonio:
First visit to Costs Rica in 98 and fell in love with its magic right away. Returned nearly every year exploring different places but always included a week in Manuel Antonio. Perfect mix of natural beauty with the right amount of things to do and places to eat.
Never had any intention of buying property in Costa Rica until a good friend of mine who lectures in architecture in San Jose told me about this place. He said it was AMAZING! Went down to look and my jaws dropped when I saw the spectacular view and the quality of the construction and features. The rest is history....
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The condo is positioned such that you get a spectacular view facing west over the Pacific Ocean (horizon is 35 miles away ) and close to tree top level for great animal and bird watching.
Unlike most condos it is furnished and equipped as I would want my home to be.
Plan to spend very little time indoors, however, because the best place is the patio/balcony. My favorite times are just as the sun rises or sets.
