The location is great - right near Trout Lake & Commerical Drive. The clean, clutter-free suite and child-friendly backyard were a great fit for our 3 year old. The host is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Overall, the experience was easy, which is especially important when travelling with a pre-schooler. The modern design was a bit hit with us and our dinner guests, as were the high-end appliances, the spacious bathroom and luxious tub and lovely heated floors throughout. We look forward to our next stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 weeks while on business from London, and this was a home away from home (the bathroom is a dream). This place could be out of the pages of Dwell magazine or Living ect. We would take our coffee and walk around the park every morning, it was beautiful. The location is so close to everything, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Downtown was less then 10 min. The restaurants on this side of town are fabulous, we ate out quite a bit! We had our 3 young nephews come to visit for five days and they loved the yard and all the toys. We are coming back this summer for two weeks! See you then Ed and Kristen.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Thanks so much to Kristen and Ed for this lovely space. I stayed just 2 nights (wish I could have stayed longer) and so enjoyed my time there. I love the decor and the location is fabulous -- -- trout lake park in autumn is great. K&E were very gracious in giving me a last minute booking. I definitely recommend a stay here.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

I have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals of this kind, but this was by far the best. It is beautifully designed, bright and clean, and has so many awesome features (great kitchen, large bathtub and shower etc.). The layout is grea and the rooms are spacious. The back deck faces south so there is lots of sun, and it backs right on to a large park. The location has a great neighbourhood feel, and it is close to transit. We stayed for almost two weeks, and ended up extending our stay! We found the owners very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental to others. Even with six adults it felt like enough room! Make sure to check out the farmers market right down the block on Saturday mornings!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

As soon as I saw the listing, I knew this was the one. We needed a vacation home that would suit an 80 year old, a 6 year old and a variety of ages in between and this suite turned out to be perfect in every way. It is centrally located, an easy walk to a bustling retail street and the sky train, while being in a calm and quiet residential neighbourhood. It didn't take long to get anywhere in the city and it didn't take long for us to feel at home. The kids loved, loved, loved the backyard tree fort and all the windows along the back of the house gives you a clear view of the kids at play. This part of the house was the focal point for me. Happy kids - Happy parents! The space is also beautifully decorated; fun, contemporary and clean. We felt like we made a new friend in Kristen right from the start. She's responsive, hospitable, down-to-earth and just plain friendly. Thank you so much. We're so glad to have found you.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful space with great light and fresh flowers throughout. The children loved running around the path surrounding Trout Lake and playing frisbee in the field. The Saturday Farmer's market was fantastic. We had a great time! Thanks Kristen and family!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We stayed here for 9 nights in July with our 5 year old son. The space is exactly how it appears in the pictures. It is beautiful, clean, wonderfully decorated and has everything you might need for a great stay in Vancouver. The beds are very comfortable and everything was so clean. We loved the back yard with the play set for our son. He got a lot of use out of it. I cannot say enough about the wonderful family we rented from. They were so warm and inviting. We left there feeling like we had made some wonderful lifelong friends. We will be recommending this suite to everyone we know that travels to Vancouver and hope to return ourselves in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My family and I really loved this home from Kristen and family. We rented this house as part of our big Canadian adventure as a family and REALLY enjoyed it. Great part of town, very nice home, very clean, comfortable, and relaxing and very convenient to all vancouver has to offer. We loved the location, the park right in the backyard, and all of Kristen's tips for things to do in Vancouver. We definitely will be looking Kristen up for our next trip to visit Vancouver. Thanks again, RickRecommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

From the moment we arrived (my family and I stayed here for 3 nights in June) our expectations were exceeded. This suite is beautiful, spacious and modern. No unwelcome surprises here! The backyard was a great place for our children to play and we adults to relax. The owners were kind, courteous and professional. They recommended activities, restaurants and other 'things to do' in and around Vancouver, that suited and met the needs of a family with 2 small kids. The location of this property is fantastic and we even used the sky train which is close by. My husband and I, plan on returning to Vancouver very soon for a weekend getaway kids free...this is where we will be stayingRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
