I highly recommend this property! The owner is a very caring we where there when Isaac appeared and she called to make sure we where ok and took very good care of us we did have to leave due to the storm but we will definitely return. This was our first trip to this area the condo was great so was the beach the few short days that we were there was fantastic even saw a dolphin right off the beach. I liked the family feel and the quite beach but your not to far away from Destin for some shopping and nightlife. I can not wait to go back but this time without a storm.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our time at Fort Walton beach and the Island Echo property. This was the first time my children have been to the area and they are already begging to return. Thank you for opening up your condo and allowing us to stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

Lovely condo, exceptionally well equipped Great local seafood and lots to do but a quiet and peaceful place to stay! Beautiful pool. Exceptionally well maintained building and grounds.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: A retired RN, artist and writer,as well as Mom to four and Grandma to seven, I love everything about Okaloosa Island. I write a blog called Okaloosa Girl and plan to retire fully to the area within the next five years. In the mean time, I would like you to enjoy this GEM of a property and grow to love Okaloosa just as I do!
Why the Owner Chose Fort Walton Beach:
I love sitting on the balcony so close to the Gulf watching the dolphins, pelicans and other wildlife and listening to the beautiful sound of the surf. The South facing unit lets me enjoy both sunrise and sunset from my unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
As a 2.5 mile barrier Island, Okaloosa is unique to the area, and provides a quiet and peaceful beach, but you are only minutes from great restaurants and other family activities. The unit is decorated in Sunny yellows, corals and greens and is warm, welcoming and completely charming. There is room to sleep eight in the generous bedrooms and pull out sofa.
