No better way to experience Seattle Life!

We just got back from spending a week in Seattle at this property over July 4th. If you want to really experience the essence of Seattle, this is the place! The home is gorgeous inside with beautiful architecture and furnishings. If you can't handle stairs, this is not your place to stay! The many different levels in the house make it very interesting inside. The best part, especially for July 4th, was the rooftop deck! Wonderful place to hang out in the morning or any time of day. It is a floating house but we never noticed any movement. The owners are very responsive to inquiries regarding the home and have many suggestions for where to go in Seattle. The pictures are slightly out of date, some of the decorations have changed but everything is still top-notch. The back deck now has a hottub that is not pictured. The unit was perfectly clean upon our arrival and well maintained. You can walk up the hill from the unit to Eastlake Drive to catch public transportation. There is a handy small grocery store/wine store/market just down the street called Pete's that probably has what you need. I would recommend this property. The rates are definitely in the splurge territory, however.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
