Opening your lake home up for us made for an extremely relaxing weekend. From the moment we walked in we had a warm and inviting feeling come over us. The weekend was all we hoped it would be, a time to get away from all the hectic schedules. The view of the lake from the sun room was fantastic. All the living accommodations were great, very clean, with a lot of special touches. We would welcome a chance to stay in the summer to take full advantage of the outdoors, lake, patio & etc.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

This is a very nice property and it is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We are thankful that the owners shared it with us. Our family of 4 (2 teens) had a great week relaxing, swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, and just plain hanging out. The lake is a good size in that it's big enough for water recreation but it's not so big that it gets overly rough with a decent wind. The cabin is very nice, well equipped, and neatly decorated. The property shoreline is rocky and good for fishing but if you want a beach, there's a nice public one at the west end of the lake. Fishing was a bit tough for us but it was probably the worst time of the year and we were unfamiliar with the lake. The owners seem to be really good people and we'd like to stay with them again. Two thumbs up from this family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

My wife and I enjoyed the recent week we spent at your cabin. The furnishings are very comfortable, everything is nicely decorated and the front room has a beautiful view of the lake. We especially liked the large yard and private dock. The full kitchen was great for preparing our own meals and we grilled out most nights. I enjoyed the early mornings fishing from the dock. It is a perfect place for quiet and relaxation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you John and Kristen. You left the place spotless and in perfect shape. I wished everyone was as clean as you were. We hope you come back. Thanks again for staying with us. Rick and Amy

Having reviewed literally dozens of VRBO listings across Minnesota and South Dakota, I was alreay impressed by this listing on Brant Lake, just by the pictures. Having just recently stayed six days at the "Lighthouse Resort" Cabin, we were even more impressed with this piece of property. It was very comfortable, very quiet and peaceful, and a delight to stay in. The set up is really accomodating, including the sleeping arrangments, three season porch overlooking the lake, screened-in porch, and living area, and a patio with a wonderful view over Brant Lake. The cabin was clean, and very well furnished and stocked. The owner and his wife were really easy to work with and extremely gracious. We very much look forward to returning again soon in the future!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.
