Chez O'Leary located at WA is a beautiful 100 yr old Victorian row house which was remodeled into a triplex back in the 50’s featuring two floors. The entire triplex can sleep up to 12 people with 3 separate living spaces including 3 kitchens and 3.25 baths. The neighborhood is becoming more known as Wallymont since it is nestled between Fremont to the SW and Wallingford to the NE.
The 2 bedroom was remodeled last year featuring hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tiled bathroom with 2 sink vanity and a 6 foot bathtub. This unit can sleep up to 6 people comfortably with each bedroom offering queen beds and the sofa pulling out to a queen sleeper.
You can come and go as you please, as after all, you are the ones on vacation!! There are many restaurants of various ethnicities(see website), shops, movie theaters, bars, bus-lines, grocery stores, 24Hr gas station and banks located nearby. You could not be in a more central location while also being part of the community. The area has a high walkability rating of 89% but is also located very close to Highway 99 and Interstate 5. Gas Works Park with scenic views of the city is close to the south and Green Lake where people walk and jog is just north of us. Woodland Park Zoo with its many attractions is less than five minutes away. The house is a block away from bus routes that lead you on Route 99 to downtown Seattle in 15-20 mins or a 5-10 mins drive by car. We are also on a bus route to the University of Washington campus.

We had a delightful stay. Shannon was extremely gracious and helpful! The house was perfect for us. We met our son and daughter-in-law and 2 1/2 year old grandchild for a three day stay in Seattle. Having the 1/2 bath was very helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Simple but tastefully decorated. A nice feel. There was a park within walking distance where we took our grandchild to play. It was within a two mile walk to the downtown area of both Wallingford and Freemont. There was an organic only grocery store in Freemont and a less expensive grocery store in Wallingford. We were in close driving proximity to the Seattle Zoo and the Seattle Science Center by the Space Needle. Public transportation was available which we did not use. We would recommend this house and would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I traveled from Texas to Seattle for a friend's wedding, and shared this 2 bdrm/1.5 bath with 3 others for 3 nights. We all had a very comfortable and relaxing stay here. Everything that we needed was in the apartment, along with extra sheets, comforters, and towels. We didn't spend very much time in the actual apartment perusing the amenities, but the owners were very thoughtful in furnishing this apartment for rental. The only thing we didn't manage to find was an iron which is useful for travelers. The entire apartment was very well kept and clean, the furniture, and especially the beds and sofas, were very comfortable to sink into after a long day. The ONLY tiny peeve about this apartment is that the bathroom sinks are TINY, slightly larger than a dinner plate. The location is in a cozy neighborhood off of a main street and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and public transit stations within walking distance. One note: the check-out time of 10:00 am is early for travelers who are tired from the previous night or don't have flights until later in the day. So be aware of this if you are used to check out times of noon or later.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.
