About the owner: We bought this beautiful place in 1999 and have spent every summer in paradise. When we are not there we would like to share our future retirement nest with others. Between rentals we also invite family and friends to come and enjoy this place.
Why the Owner Chose Nawiliwili:
We spent a lot of time searching throughout Kauai and determined that Kalapaki Bay is the BEST location in the island as your home base. It sits right in the middle between the North Shore, West Coast and Poipu in the South. Kalapaki Bay is a secluded paradise but only 3 minutes to the town of Lihue, 5 minutes to Costco & Home Depot and 10 minutes to the airport. It is difficult to explain the significance of this. Our Kalapaki beach is considered one of the best beginning to intermediate surfing and boogie boarding beaches on the island and is partially protected by the marina break, which was important for our kids. One of our requirements in choosing our place is it needs to be not only walking distance to the beach but in flip-flops.
