Come be our guest and enjoy all the fabulous amenities that Wild Dunes Resort, just minutes from Historic Charleston, has to offer. If you’re looking for a cottage with something extra, this is the one for you. You won’t find a more well-appointed rental on the island. The cottage is located on a beautiful wide lagoon and is a short, seven minute walk to the beach and Grand Pavilion/Boardwalk area.

This cottage could be called "Wild Dunes meets Lily Pulizer." The colors used can only be described as very, very happy. Pinks, greens, yellows, and aqua blues greet you as soon as you come in the door. Australian Cypress floors throughout the main living areas pair beautifully with the granite counters, hand picked tile back splash, and lush custom window treatments.

The main living area features down-filled seating, beautiful custom window treatments. Fireplace, wet bar, large screen/high definition TV, dining table for six - all with a beautiful lagoon view.

The kitchen offers everything you’ll need to prepare a gourmet meal, or just a simple picnic to take to the beach with top of the line cookware, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and entertaining pieces that compliment all the colors of this adorable cottage. There is a comfortable bar-height table for family members or friends to relax and keep the chef company. It also opens to the main living are so the chef never feels left out of the party.

The large porch, which opens from either the living area or kitchen, overlooks the wide lagoon and has plenty of room for lounging under the two ceiling fans. A precious pink and white awning surrounds the outside area, setting a festive mood. Natural wicker furniture for both dining and lounging and the grass carpet make the screen porch a true "outdoor room." Just perfect for watching all the interesting wildlife in the lagoon!

The Master bedroom, decorated in soft aqua blues, feature custom bedding on a queen feather bed, 300 count cotton sateen sheeting, beautiful custom drapery, and offers a TV for late night viewing. The adjacent master bath has tumbled marble tile with an extra deep "soaking tub." One of the guest rooms is furnished with a queen bed, while the other features a set of twins. Both of the brightly colored guest rooms come with feather beds, custom bedding, 300 count sheets, down blankets, and share a darling bath with ‘”soaker tub”. We take pride in treating our guest just as we would treat them in our primary home.

Staying within the gated community of Wild Dunes, affords great relaxation for families of all ages. We also offer the Wild Dunes sportscard that will give you access to all of the amenities that Wild Dunes has to offer (tennis, fittness center, ect)Whether relaxing on the beach, sipping cool island drinks up at the Grand Pailion, or strolling along winding nature trails, there is something for everyone.

It is a paintbox of happy colors and thoughtful touches. The quiet and cozy surroundings (and the sumptuous featherbeds)leave you well and truly rested and ready to enjoy island life. We enjoyed having breakfast out on the screened porch while watching the alligators and egrets in the lagoon. You actually look forward to coming back to this house after a day at the beach and are able to relax and enjoy your companions. This happy place has it all: the location is close to the beach, the Grand Pavilion and Wild Dunes activities, and just a short drive into Charleston and other local attractions. It's simply the perfect spot for a much-needed getaway. It's truly an extra-ordinary place amidst the other run-of-the-mill choices. You'll have beautiful memories here.

  • We went to the Isle of Palms for a wedding weekend, and the only problem we had was not enough time to enjoy our beautiful accommodations more. The cottage is so bright and beautifully decorated, it makes you smile just to be there. All the amenities are top quality, the accessories whimsical, tasteful and fun. We couldn't have been more comfortable. It was too cold to enjoy the inviting screened porch, so guess we'll have to go back. From the outside, the cottage doesn't look like anything special, but step inside and it is enchanting. We were grateful to be guests in your home.
