This is a very unique home, decorated with an island flair. It has a fantastic view of the fourth tee at the Currituck Club Golf Course and of the Currituck sound! Watch the frustrated golfers walk by while laying to the hammock swing under the shade of the live oaks that surround this private property. Practice your putting on your own private, professionally designed, putting green with three different holes! Or practice your game on our newly acquired Golden Tee Classic game that is set on "Free Play". Enjoy a game of horseshoes or have a drink at the Tiki Bar just off the pool. The pool has a fiber-optic light show for you to enjoy at night. The back yard is fenced-in so you don't have to worry about your kids or your dogs "escaping." An outside stereo system has been installed for your listening pleasure. Who needs the beach with a backyard like this? Well just in case you do... It's 421 yards away.
The lower level has a "Man-Cave" as it is referred to. With a surround-sound system, TV/DVD/VCR, full-size pool-table, full size air-hockey table, Golden Tee game, pub table and stools, wet-bar with full-size refrigerator and dishwasher and a half bath right by the entry door (No tinkling in the pool!!). It also has two king-size bedrooms and a full bath.
The middle level has a queen bedroom and a kids room with pyramid bed+trundle that have a connecting full bathroom. Another queen bedroom is also on this floor and another full bath. The Rosewood dining room table seats 12. A double sided fireplace separates the dining area from a second family room with TV with DVD. The kitchen has a terrific view of the back yard and of the Sound. Full-size washer and dryer are also on this level. On the deck is a eight person hot tub, bar with two stools, a teak dining room table with six chairs and stairs with gate that lead down to the fenced-in back yard.
The upper level is a VERY romantic spot. It has a sitting area with another dining room table, futon to lay back on and watch TV. In the bedroom you'll find a king-sized bed with another double-sided fireplace. On the other side of the fireplace is a two person jet-tub with a window that looks out to the sound! This room also has a full bath with double sinks and shower. This room also have a private deck looking over the whole back yard and a fantastic view of the golf course and sound.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans (except 1 bunkroom), as does the dining room and two of the three sitting areas. I've been told this was an Oceanfront home that was moved in '04

The Unique Benefits at this House
Tigers Lair has such a huge backyard with so much to do right there that, even though the beach is just a 6 minute walk away, many people never leave the property. The 1/4 acre fenced-in backyard has a 3-hole putting green, swing-set, pavillion w/bar and table, horse-shoes, hammock under the trees and a great pool surrounded by lounge chairs
