Enjoy peaceful soundfront views including bird watching and nice sunsets with a short walk (or golf car shuttle ride) to a wide sandy beach. This spacious three bedroom condo is located on the second floor of Building R at the Ocean Club Resort. The master is furnished with a king bed and master bath including a shower and separate garden tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares a bath with the third bedroom which has a double bed. We have two televisions (living and master bedroom) with cable and wireless internet service. Our building has an elevator and baggage cart for easy check-in.
Amenities include a pool on the sound side with a heated pool on the ocean side of the complex. Both have Jacuzzi hot tubs alongside. It's a short walk to the ocean where a beautiful beach awaits you or visit the sound right behind your unit to observe shore birds or walk in the shallows of the sound looking for crabs and conchs along with kayaking, fishing, clamming or just relaxing in the sun.
There is a good selection of seafood restaurants nearby or you can visit Morehead City or historic Beaufort for a wide selection of shopping, the Maritime Museum or charter a day trip to Cape Lookout. Mini golf, bumper cars and jet ski rentals are within a mile and a half and the North Carolina State Aquarium is 10 minutes away. Charter boats for both deep sea and sound fishing are within fifteen minutes and two golf courses are close by (fifteen and twenty minute drives).

The place was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The kids enjoyed the pools and the beach. Nice location, quiet. The walk to the beach was easy, though I did take the car a couple of times since we had a lot of stuff. Parking on beach side was not a problem. There is also a shuttle that you can call, which was nice. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. We hope to come back sometime.Recommended for: Families with young children.

I was very impressed with this property. It was attractive, peaceful, well-equipped, clean, and like new. The owner was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to others. The location was great! We were near fish restaurants and markets, shopping, and many attractions. I enjoyed visiting Cap'n Willis Seafood Market, the Pine Knolls Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, and the seaport city of Beaufort, all within a 30 minute drive. I brought my kayak and enjoyed launching it right out back in the sound. An easy walk across the street took us to the beach. Taking a dip in one of the 2 pools was a treat after swimming in the ocean! The whole family, ages 16-81 found plenty to do on this wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beach condo. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. The condo was well stocked and the layout provided privacy for members of the family. The description and pictures on VRBO were accurate and the owner was terrific to work with during the whole process. The condo is perfect for families as well as for couples. The pool was just a short walk from the condo and the beach was just across the main street (within walking distance but also the facility provided a shuttle to the beach as well). During our vacation, we visited the aquarium which was very interesting. We hope to be back soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family had never been to Emerald Isle before this year. It was a beautiful area and this condo was very nice, clean, and quiet. The resort is extremely family friendly and very well maintained. There are two pools that were always clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and the three bedrooms were perfect! The unit is furnished nicely, but we could have used more storage for clothing....but we are usually guilty of over packing! The owner was extremely helpful and kind. He was always quick to answer any questions and was very accommodating. We were sad to leave, and I must say we will most likely return in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
