Thought we were getting a one bedroom condo... It was two bedroom, two bath. Location great. Walking distance to local hot spots and town car was available up to 2 miles. Owners were great, answered all questions quickly. Also made crib available for our grandson. We have used VRBO a lot, both in US and abroad and this unit was way above our expectations. Would recommend this unit and location to anyone looking for a San Francisco stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This is by far the best location in San Francisco to stay for a getaway. We certainly had an idea of what to expect from the pictures, but out expectations were even surpassed. Whether you are staying for a long weekend or a week, the accommodations are immaculate and a home away from home. While we enjoyed the sights (and the amazing food) that SF had to offer, we were torn because we knew we had a such a great place to come "home" to. Just around the block is the Buena Vista with the best Irish coffee I have ever had. The concierge helped make last minute reservations and always had great suggestions. We had great Italian at Rose Pistola. The car and driver was such plus in a city with limited parking which made getting out a pleasure with much less stress. Golden Gate Park is nearby and a walk along the water to the base of the bridge was perfect one afternoon. Fisherman's Wharf is just a few blocks away. Pier 39 is a bit farther down with the aquarium. Day trips to Alcatraz or Angel Island are in the area. We brought in a few things to snack on for breakfast or quick snacks, but if we stayed longer cooking in the full-sized kitchen would have been fun. This was the perfect mix of home comforts and vacation luxury. Definitely plan on returning. Just trying to figure out when.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
