Its unique location, its secluded semi- private beach, with its own umbrellas and chaises lounges, its views and amazing sunsets, make the villa an ideal romantic or family retreat for relaxation and tranquility.3 floor stylish house,traditionally furnished-Greek style,with big verandas facing the sea. I don't know where to begin. My girlfriend and I live in New York, and we wanted to escape to the Mediterranean. This is definitely the beautiful home we were looking for when we first imagined a beach vacation in Greece. The house and it's stone deck leading to the beach are true masterpieces. There are hammocks outside, as well as a shower. I spent nearly a week there with my girlfriend and we could not ask for a more romantic, calm, and majestic setting to enjoy the Mediterranean. It's a big house so I think of one day returning with a group of friends. Oh and I also had the best fish of my life at a taverna restaurant in a nearby town.

This lovely located family owned house gives you the feeling you are at home in this lovely holiday house. With only the steps down as access to the beach, the lovely views from the terraces and warm interior design, you feel very much at home on the most beautiful location you could imagine. The family owning this lovely house is incredibly warm and kind and it is a real joy to to rent their family property from them! We clearly recommend this house! (We stayed with a family with 3 boys 9 - 12; they kept themselves occupied on the beach, snorkling, fishing. Etc for the full stay easily, so we parents since long managed to read a few book!)

We were a family party with small children. Loads of space and comfortable communal areas inside and out. We hardly left the property, and made good use of the outdoor kitchen and wood oven. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time, and the sea perfect. The place has the feel of a cherished family home, clean and well maintained and with very attentive local caretaker. Fresh fish and bread delivered to the gate. We could have done a lot more exploring of the local ancient sites, but somehow we couldn't leave the shady terraces and rocking hammocks. Another time I hope. Would certainly recommend as a quiet and comfortable retreat. Need to be able to cope with steps to beach.

What you expect after seeing the pictures is exactly what you get when you are there. The peaceful and calm atmosphere combined with the fantastic view, takes away all motivation to go somewhere else. Even though the nearby beaches are very nice too and the nearby towns have all the shopping, dining or going out to offer that one could whish for - most of the time you just want to be on this patio under the pergola. The owner really gives you the feeling to be a welcome guest, a friend even and is always available to give advice or fix a problem. After having been on a lot of beach holidays in beautiful places, we were here the second time now and here it is where we want to come back to again and again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Villa Efelli provided the perfect relaxing beach vacation for our family of five including kids from 3 to 18. The photos are accurate: the layout is wonderful, the views are fabulous, the house is well-maintained, and the private beach is delightful. Although we took several forays to nearby towns and attractions, our favorite days were those in which our car never left the driveway. Most of our time was spent outside on the beach or on the patio under the pergola. Although there are many restaurants in the area, our best meals were prepared in the well appointed kitchen and eaten outside. Dmitra could not have been more helpful. She even provided a cell phone so she could be easily reached if needed. I highly recommend Villa Efelli!

Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und im griechischen Stil sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet- eine Rarität. Mit den vielen Balkonen und Terrassen, dem Garten und alles in vorderster Reihe mit Meerblick bietet es einige lauschige Plätze draußen. Oft ist man der einzige Besucher des Strandes direkt am Haus- während ein Strand weiter in Lygia Beach der Bär rockt. Wer mit mehreren Personen anreist muss sich mögen, denn nur die Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss lassen sich mit einer Tür schließen. Das Obergeschoss ist nur durch die schmale Wendeltreppe abgetrennt. Die Matratzen sind allesamt ziemlich hart. Nette Bars, Cafès und Restaurants sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Wir waren schon 2 Mal da und werden wieder kommen.
